And again, it's worth mentioning over and over and over again: the right-wing, conservative-funded, Republican-supporting Heritage Foundation has a public, accessible database of all known instances of voter fraud going back to 1979. They found 1289 instances. In 40 years' worth of elections.

If you believe voter fraud in any way or form is a significant problem, I recommend the lottery. There's a much better chance of you winning that than American elections having voter fraud that significantly influences the outcome in any way.

So that's an average of just 32 fraudulent votes per year - and probably a mix of both Republican and Democrat voter fraud, in a nation having a population of 330 million.

Trump's claims are worse than pathetic. He is knowingly, wilfully trying to destroy the fabric of democracy. It makes me wonder all the more just what blackmail hold Putin's Russia has on him.

He is in fact guilty of treason.

Makes sense in a vacuum but in a country where a vote was defacto illegal to cast by a black woman 60-70 years ago... The idea of a legal vote is too tainted to take serious, especially when touted by a party that has no interest in allowing as many legal votes as possible.

And according to the Republicans every mail in ballot is an illegal vote. Which is what 50-60% of the total votes cast.
So Trump basically wants to invalidate half the votes cast. You dont see a problem with that?
 
"More results expected any moment" - so probably two hours from now, judging by how it's been going so far.
 
As much as I want this to be over, at long last, having CNN on my laptop while I work from home this week has become like an addiction :D

Same here, absolutely. Watching CNN, refreshing this thread, looking at electoral maps and Twitter feeds while doing just enough work to not fall behind... I enjoyed it, the madman I am.

Well Biden is currently at 253. If he wins GA he's at 269.

Trump needs to win everything else - AK (3), NV (6), PA(20), NC(15), AZ(11).

But again is almost impossible for him to make a turnaround in every state he's trailing.

Same! It's far more exciting than any transfer deadline day, and these people with white hair on CNN are better to watch than Jim White on SSN!

Then there is no reason to behave like a nutter. He has ZERO basis for his claims - not just that, but we ALL KNEW he was going to claim fraud. He even said so in 2016 for feck sake.
