Watched a few hours of Fox this afternoon and they haven’t been too bad generally. Brett of course was reasonable and the presenters including Fox and Friends have been saying there is no evidence of dodgy dealings at the counts.

Must be driving Trump berserk every time he puts his telly on. Feck knows what he can watch until Hannity comes on.

Cock was on fire to be honest.

Biden might end up winning by +4 or +5, so it's still a huge failure. In fact, even if Biden loses he'll still probably have the popular vote by at least 3 points.
Of course, but the Dems won midterms by about 8 points or so, right? So anything less than that will lose seats. Though this isn't to defend Pelosi, who should go.

Bigger kick is not winning state legislatures, so the gerrymandered districts will last for the next decade.

Anyone watch this CNN reporter just now explaining that down in Savannah, GA, they usually only do 2-3k ballots per day? And have something approaching 20k outstanding (I forgot the exact number he said)

Ffs. Apparently Nevada will not have any more info today, 51K or so tomorrow, with the rest on the weekend?

Like, I get that it’s a challenge and everything and the process made by laws doesn’t make it easy etc. Etc. But it’s a bit farcical now how long it’s taking.
They don't want to be the state that confirms Biden and then have the MAGA multitude come down on them. They'd rather either Georgia or Pennsylvania do it instead.

I do declare they need to fit the counting around drinking mint juleps and fanning themselves on the porch.

All down to Trump I suppose, energising both his supporters and his opponents'.

Makes me wonder what will happen in the next election, assuming Trump isn't an option. Will that Trump wave dissipate once he is no longer there? Or will Trumpism remain a factor on the right, with other Trump-lite lunatics trying to harness that vote?

Important to note what's NOT happening with the GOP.

- Moscow Mitch is NOT feeding him.
- The senate in general are not feeding him
- Even the nut McCarthy is subdued.

They also are NOT pushing back against his BS, yet. Probably waiting for the counts and the courts.

I bet a bit of cash on him being removed before the inauguration yesterday. The dude thought I was crazy.
think they are just waiting to see if it comes down to just one state or more. If it comes down to just one state, then I can see them coming out in hoards claiming fraud and everything imaginable under the sun.

OANN or Newsmax will console him.

Speaking of Pelosi (and other DNC dinosaurs), perhaps Biden/Kamala/others can convince them to step down in the next year or two to get fresh faces in there for the next cycle and ahead of the 2024 GE.
