2018 Sheep Draft

I was fecking going to ask about that (A) but thought he'd randomly done it for spacing

Nope. My understanding is that you get to pick two players that have played with the one you have chosen. The one you have chosen tho will get blocked, so you don't get the player you just picked.
But I want the player I picked, not the one he’s linked with...

So I have to submit two players now who played with LINK but not each other?

Bet ya you aren't the only one, me included.

Will the link player be declared now? So we know how many competing managers are there.

I may have painted myself into a corner here.
Think the whole reason why Skizzo would do that is not to declare the player and have you guessing how many managers chose the same player ;)

Unless many people chose the same player there is a very slim chance someone to get a sheep IMO...

I'd guess you get a FAIL and you have to repick.

I imagine so too, but with them not being picked it's not a certainty. And imagine the meltdowns if someone else picks up the player you originally wanted?

Please note that link players will eventually be blocked

Does this mean that if we pick someone else's link player in this round we would get that player but after this round they are blocked?

Nope. All link players that we have chosen this round will be blocked.

If you pick someone else link player you will get a fail. I'd imagine the best option is to do what @Moby said and make sure your pick hasn't played for more than 5 clubs if you don't want to get sheep'd.

Just so I am clear

If I picked player X then

Player Y and Z need to have played with him but not with each other?

I already have a sheep, playing safe is no longer an option for me

What happens if 1 pick is pass and one fail...do both fail? And are both blocked?
