My favourite pick up to date. Pretty much the perfect team player, but in my opinion easily good enough to be the star of a great side:)

Only five hours of picking time?

@Skizzo how do we estimate past clubs that no longer exist?

For example if player X has played in the 60's/70's for a club that no longer exist but was professional at the time, does it count?

Also does it include Australia, NASL and those leagues?

As long as they were a professional club team at the time the player played there, it’s valid.

And yes, any professional leagues across the world count.

@oneniltothearsenal @Enigma_87

Delete those posts please.

The rule is still in place for not mentioning unpicked players.

Consider this a final warning for everyone. Next time it’ll result in failed picks as punishment. Thank you :)
Point taken, I didn't really look into the pic that much only looked at the heading, but can understand being a lead, etc...

Yeah I didn't even think about the picture on the book being unnamed players it was so grainy - I can't even tell who they are, now you got me googling the cover pic of that book

I'm never going to forgive you for the 5+ minutes I am wasting trying to figure out who those players even were

Picked this guy for the first time, had him as a safe option in case it went to Pick 3. Should be interesting digging up stuff about him although I expect a lot of it to be already done here in earlier drafts.

Włodzimierz 'Włodek' Lubański
Wodzinmierz+Lubaski.jpg

With a career spanning a total of 23 years, and a record that stands at 327 goals in 590 competitive games, Włodzimierz Lubański remains as one of Poland's greatest ever strikers.

Ya cheers, already read that IBWM article on him. Decided not to post it now as it had player names. Cheers for the write up link, will go through it.

During the 1968 European Cup campaign, United lost only 1 game throughout the tournament. He was the only scorer in that game (finished 1-0). So that is Indnyc's final winning team taken care of.

 Must pick other players now!

Any update?

We may add a rule like "5 points for each of the last 3 guys who submitted their pick"

In case of a draw, the team with the lowest # of points pass

I don't know if I'm clear but easy to be implemented

I like it. Only applicable for the first pick, but that should be obvious.
