So what's our tipple of choice for tonight redcafe?

Personally I'm on the whisky.

I actually have an issue with male politicians that they usually wear terribly fitted suits, and Trump is a top offender. More points for BO though, who wears some pretty good ones (except when he wore that beige for a Syria brief).

I've wondered if the awful suits are an effort to look more approachable to middle-classes?

Anyways, Trump's choices have been dissected: http://theslot.jezebel.com/what-is-up-with-trumps-ill-fitting-suits-a-world-famou-1787666547

It's the cut, nothing else. He's older, heavier and going to wear a classic fit to hide that gut. Not many men over 50 can pull off slim, fitted or modern cut suits.

The tie length is crazy, though.

Disgusting

I bet some of these "protesters" were the same people who yap on about the black panther guys at the Philadelphia voting place in 2012.

Or they might not actually exist at all, which then changes the story to how disgusting the people who are making it up are. So we either have disgusting racists or disgusting idiots trying to create more racial tension

Trump's checking out her legs, as he's forgotten that he's married to her.

True.

Also not a wise idea for the guy spreading these false rumours (If they are lies) to name his employer in his twitter profile.

Mine was all of 5 minutes. Poor people in PA waiting 2.5h and it isn't even the busy time yet.

Feck me, that's nothing, people queue 6 hours just to go on a rollercoaster at Alton Towers. You should see the queue to cash your pensions at the local post office on a Friday. Jeeez, It's insane.

Anybody think Tim Kaine is going to be president one day?

He's more bland than rye bread, but seems to have this knack for winning election.

Just like with his hair, he looks ridiculous and is fooling nobody.

Its one more thing that tells you that he's not even a proper rich person, just a rich dumbass like the asian kids that drive supercars down Park Ave. on weekends. There are plenty of rich people in NYC that ooze class, and good for them because I only hope to be one of them someday. But Trump is not and will never be.

I'm confused. Is this whimsy, parody?

A proper rich person is someone who has a lot of money. There's no other qualification.

Difficult to say, he does not inspire anyone that I know of.

The last few, Biden, Cheney, Gore, Quayle did not go on to become President. Bush the First was the last one. Mondale failed. Ford got promoted when Nixon resigned, so that does not really count. Agnew being Agnew had no chance.
Humphrey failed to follow in LBJ's footsteps. Not sure LBJ would ever have been President had Kennedy not been shot. Nixon failed in his immediate attempt after being Ike's VP. Truman also needed the death of FDR to first get into the White House.

So really being Vice President does not seem the stepping stone to being the President one might think. It is very easy to get lost in that job, forgotten about. You are not making policy. You get credit for nothing. You get sent to a bunch of funerals. Mostly just wait around in case the President dies.

Which means people need to take a day off... low income/hourly taking days off? Until @InfiniteBoredom mentioned it I hadn't thought about that.

Yeah, which is why it's astounding when you think about the way his career has played out so far. Looking at him, you'd get the feeling the only way he win a race is Forrest Gump'd it.

I think Dems need a white man after Clinton though, 'firsts' only go so far.
