Not sure but the officials have to be on the side of safety first when it comes to whether or not to get him off stage. Something worrying them doesn't mean the person was armed.

It's showed us all how protected the candidates are because as the guy was being led away you could see at least a dozen or so local LEO's, plus the Secret Service that go everywhere with Drumpf, and then you could see half a dozen heavily armed soliders. Not sure if they were regular Army or National Guard, but whatever they had the full kit on and were all armed to the teeth. Feck me, Any assassination attempt at a rally like that is basically a suicide mission. I know they have to be well protected but still.
