So judging by this page, if you peddle batshit crazy conspiracies by low-key demeanor, it counts as successful savvy political act.
Talk about lowering the bar.
Not really. Several bankruptcies and he'd be wealthier now had he just invested his inherited millions wisely rather than trying to be a businessman.Yeah but objectively, he's done a very decent job in building a huge company etc

You are confusing source and messenger. Since they are original documents the authors of the documents are the sources of the content.Come again? Those who stole the documents are those who wrote them? And the hackers are mere "intermediaries"?
WikiLeaks has shown itself to be mainly a tool of Russia - why else do you think most of the leaked docs attempt to damage Clinton and help Trump?
But then he wouldn't have given jobs to others and bought goods and services that helped the economy. At least he's put himself out there and tried to build things instead of being some snakey cnut making money from speculating.
That argument would hold water if he didn't stiff contractors, screw investors out of their money while abusing undocumented foreign workers on low wage no benefits pay.
Also, the plot thickens.
That doesn't make him successful. But then he wouldn't have given jobs to others and bought goods and services that helped the economy. At least he's put himself out there and tried to build things instead of being some snakey cnut making money from speculating.

Does that hypothetical take into account is ridiculously high-maintenance lifestyle? Not really. Several bankruptcies and he'd be wealthier now had he just invested his inherited millions wisely rather than trying to be a businessman.
His dad was bankrolling his lifestyle for decades, so yeah.Does that hypothetical take into account is ridiculously high-maintenance lifestyle?
The original point I disagreed with was:I don't understand what point you are making.
The original point I disagreed with was:
"he's done a very decent job in building a huge company"
I don't consider him to have done a decent job in business. He's done a poor job.
That's an absurd statement.
Call me absurd then too...
and that's a statement of your opinon, which I happen to disagree with. Sadly, we'll probably never know exactly how successful or otherwise he's been - unless he releases his tax details. But then maybe you know how many of his business ventures have gone under? That's an absurd statement.

You're absurd
Not if you consider where he started from. That's an absurd statement.
Not if you consider where he started from.
Nor if you consider the multiple bankruptcies, or the thousands of lawsuits for screwing people over.
Spending your inheritance doesn't make you a good businessman.
Moving the goalposts...
Erm, no, not at all.Moving the goalposts...
Erm, no, not at all.
If you start with the same level of wealth you end up with then you're not a successful businessman.
Making more of yourself than you were given/started with.Define successful.
Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump on Saturday said he will sue the women who have accused him of sexual misconduct, making the announcement during a speech aimed at outlining his plans for the first 100 days of his potential presidency.
“Every woman lied when they came forward to hurt my campaign, total fabrication. The events never happened, never. All of these liars will be sued after the election is over,” Trump said, eliciting cheers from the crowd in Gettysburg, Penn.
Multiple women in recent weeks have accused Trump of inappropriately touching or kissing them without consent in incidents spanning decades. Trump has repeatedly denied the accusations, attacking the appearance and credibility of his accusers. In his remarks on Saturday, he went a step further in announcing plans to take legal action against them, but some media law experts voiced skepticism that such litigation would be viable.
“Does he have a viable legal claim? The answer is: the evidence that we know today doesn’t seem to suggest that,” said Sandra Baron, a senior fellow at Yale Law School and media law expert. “It’ll be his obligation to prove that what the women said was false and defamatory.”
Look a bit deeper. Didn't he run a casino that went under? How much has he actually paid for the Scottish golf course with his name on it? ...if you want to be realisticEh...are you not aware of all the golf courses, casinos, apartment buildings?
He's clearly a successful businessman. He's also one step from the Presidency. He's an odious man but that doesn't stop me being realistic about his achievements.
Making more of yourself than you were given/started with.
Probably not the best example you could use...casinos
Probably not the best example you could use...
OKThat's a narrow definition and one I don't agree with.
