Who are the Republican big hitters who are going to have the same impact as the Dem reserves? I know I said after seeing Biden's speech yesterday that they're going to hit Trump hard now for the next few weeks, good speakers who'll make pointed speeches. Are there Reps who can do the same for Trump, or would even want to?

Thinking of the likes of Cruz there with that second question...

No big names for Trump beyond the usual suspects - Christie, Giuliani, Gingrich etc.

Must check if any journalists are running that angle :D Surely going to be an issue. The big four or five Dem speakers will be hitting him with zingers and plain facts and figures which will help eat into the news cycle. The lack of support from his own side will surely tell. Not to mention how draining it'll be trying to compete with being quadruple-teamed.

Edit: From reading around, Sanders and Warren were both out campaigning for Hillary today, while by comparison the only mentions on the other side are of nameless "Trump surrogates", which I would imagine are just his usual media heads.

I think it's the GOP supporting base in general. Case in point a sweet friend of mine posted this gem today. She also happens to be a deranged GOP supporter and just recently jumped on the Trump train. She's what I call a toe-the-line type, support the party at all costs.

I've never been more worried and spent more time reading and researching politics in my life! So many of you are simply shrugging this election off because we have two undesirable candidates. We MUST engage and vote in this election regardless! This election is honestly one of the most, if not the most crucial, important elections in the history of our country. We have had an enormous amount of damage inflicted over the last 8 years.

I am NOT okay with radical Islamic terrorists flooding into the country with intent to kill and destroy us. I am NOT okay with the racial divide instigated and fueled my Obama and the media. I am NOT okay with cops being targeted and killed for doing their job. I am NOT okay with cities being destroyed. I am NOT okay with a baby being allowed to be aborted/killed the day before it's due date. I am NOT okay with every religion except Christianity being encouraged and accepted in our country. I am NOT okay with lies, schemes, covering up, and manipulation of career politicians. I am NOT okay with threats to take away our constitutional rights. I am NOT okay with someone that degrades, belittles, and treats our military like they are dirt! I am NOT okay with someone that leaves military members to be murdered and who supports decreasing our military numbers. I am NOT okay with people making a career out of welfare while I work and pay 1/3 of my salary in taxes to take care of them. And the list goes on....

So this list tells me who I absolutely CANNOT and will not vote for! A vote for Hillary would say I'm okay with how things are in our country right now. I absolutely cannot think of one single reason that I could vote for her. Because I'm a woman? Hardly! Yes I would love to see a woman as POTUS but it sure as heck isn't Hillary!

Some may ask why Trump? Trump has skeletons too. You know, I'm sure that he does. And he was far from anyone I ever thought I would have to vote for. But I wholeheartedly believe that Trump loves America. I love that he can't be bought. I love that he has guts to stand up to the very deep barrel of crookedness in our country. I love that he's blunt and harsh at times. I appreciate that he is standing up and fighting for America. I would rather take a chance on him than support a career criminal and liar.

Our safety, constitutional rights, and the basic principles/foundation of America are at stake! We cannot afford to be passive, lame ducks now America!!

It would get to the point that I simply would not be able to tolerate being within earshot of either. I sense a few analysts want to strangle both.

He also saw the state debt increase from 1.8b to 4.6b during his tenure. The man's lack of a single ounce of foreign policy knowledge renders him a fool's vote. I reckon too many hipsters jump on the Gary train in a "feck you" to the major parties. He looked a solid third choice option until he get the press he desired and opened his mouth (and stuck out his tongue).

The most laughable bit is Hannity's relationship with Trump. Every day, Trump's surrogates have a conference call and are emailed talking points on issues they want to touch on. I'm pretty sure Hannity is also fed the core issues and then builds his show around them. Last night, Hannity had two pro-Trump black pastors on (who also had access to the talking points), where you basically had a farcical scenario where Hannity and the two pastors were conducting a fake interview where the questions and answers were already pre-scripted into Trump's talking points.

It seems this is the case with all electorates, but it is being especially highlighted in this election, that the fickleness of the population knows no bounds.

Think about this - Hillary got pneumonia and she was suddenly at deaths door unfit for the office. Trump has a bad debate and now he is unfit. Regardless of my personal opinion on either of these candidates the ability to change peoples minds on a moments notice is surreal. This debate and the polls have no meaning. All that matters is the last debate, and the following days leading up to the election. 70% of the population* will forget the rest.

*I made that up.

All my church fellowship including my pastor have strong anti Trump messages listing how Americans can't afford jingoistic dunderheads in the name of constitution. Granted, my church is in Connecticut.
