I might he wrong here, but is Trump the only person in the world where you can just see his bottom teeth when he talks?

The "that makes me smart" part should just be played in ads on repeat.

Seriously how the hell did it end
up being Trump vs Clinton...

I saw the very beginning last night. Watching those two walk out was pretty surreal and demoralising. Scary too.

Clinton may be better prepared, but she doesn't fill me with any confidence. It all looks like she's putting on a front of confidence, but really looks kinda weak behind it (not to mention barmy).
Maybe I'm wrong, just the body language I'm getting.

That Trump has got this far is one of the scariest/stupidest things to happen in my lifetime.

Trump said he would make millions from it, and reiterated that again last night. Basically saying he made money from ordinary working people losing their houses to the banks. It's an awful comment, and shouldn't really go down well with anyone who really thinks about it aside from rich developers. I think Clinton hit him well with that one.

Tbh, that just "perception' BS in total disconnect with reality.

First, you had the banks themselves who made money off risky securities
Second, you had inept oversight from regulators who did not understand the markets themselves.
Third, you had ridiculously inept rating agencies who rated all those risky bonds as A+

And finally, you had sane people who realized the market is going to crash..but it was so widespread and beyond belief that all they can do is bet against it themselves. After all, people are in the market to money!

Now we are blaming those who bet against it whilst those who cause it are getting ignored (by many who are not named Liz Warren ofc!)?

Wow, check out Fox and the coverage of Trump and Ivanka leaving and getting to their car. Feck me, Trump looked like he was arguing a little, but Ivanka didn't look happy at all and was clearly arguing and finger waving with the lady she was conversing with. They didn't look happy at all.
I have seen plenty of arguments like that at 5am when someone snorted the last few lines and there is a scramble.

Just saw the BBC's report on this, it was a bit of a joke.

Was it like that:

Clinton is a seasoned politician. Saying the two are bad as each other is ridiculous.
The double standard and false equivalence should be the story of this election. A responsible media would have destroyed him the second after his announcement to run.

But he brags about it. He was one of thousands of investors who made out well from that clusterfeck but to me he sounds like he got more enjoyment from taking off people who are down for cents on the dollar then the actual investment.

Biggest cheer of the night was when Trump said he'll release his tax returns when Hillary releases the 33k emails she deleted. Ouch.

But that's the point. He made some money off those who were ruining the market...not like he was stealing right off a common man's pocket. It was not like "Rooted for the housing crash" that seem to dominate headlines. The crash was already happening due to other factors and would have happened irrespective of any of those betting against it or not.

But wait...why am I defending Trump here? :nervous:

Off with his head!

He followed that up with "No, that's not a mistake. You did that deliberately" comment which would have put her on the defensive, but as usual his ego needed pandering and he let her off the hook.

And calling himself smart for not paying taxes and justifying it as "would have been wasted anyway" are now prime ammunition for Clinton camp.

If you haven't seen it watch that Chritian Bale movie about the crash. It tells the story of a few guys who knew what was happening and profited greatly from it although it was a conflict for them. The trumpanzee talks like it was him that organized this great investment opportunity. I do believe he started a mortgage company less then two years before the crash, what a financial guru he must be. That is why his tax returns are so important as I'm confident they will show he is exactly like the hotel lobby he lives in, boring sheet rock covered in gold leaf.

First debate and Hillary had the edge, she was prepared and some answers was like she was reading from a book. Trump wasn't prepared at all and I don't even think he cares, he didn't had any answer for the Obama birth certificate issue and Hillary settled her issue when she said she was sorry for the email mess. He sounds like a used car salesman when he says he has properties here there anywhere. He needs a coach to teach him how to debate and be calm when attacked if he want votes from the "independents". My opinion on both candidates are the same even my yellow lab would be a better president.

So he admits he can release his returns despite the audit but refuses to be forthcoming to the voter, ouch for him. I want to see his true financial status before her boring emails. This is not just about supporting the status quo, this is about preventing the burning of everything we have built since WW2.

Technically, he should release his tax returns now, since the FBI already retrieved the deleted emails and a federal judge and the State Department already scheduled releases of the emails.

Yep, he basically admitted it was a choice not a legal matter so no more excuses. He also accididentally admitted he doesn't pay much tax so that's more than likely the reason he isn't releasing them. Billionaires who pay no tax generally wouldn't be taken seriously as populist middle class friendly candidates.

Regarding emails, can anyone at all tell me just one email that has put the lives of any Americans at risk that was carelessly handled by Clinton. Can anyone point to a specific interaction that resulted in special favors by the State Department for CGI? Please I would like at least one example that warrants this crazy notion that she works against the interest of the American People.
Trump on the other hand has spent his life fecking over people like me and you and I would like to know how much my president owes to foreign entities and why there is no evidence of the charitable contributions he claims he has made.
My view is with Hillary you are voting for a strong, intelligent woman with the ear of every former president still living who has worked tirelessly for 35 years for the betterment of the public. With Trump I wouldn't be able to tell which one of the clan is running the country on any given day. A vote for Trump as president is a vote for one of his children as president. The only member of that family you can guarantee will not be involved is his nude model illegal immigrant wife.

The author of the Art of the Deal said Trump has ADD and has no interest in doing anything like debate prep as he doesn't have the self discipline to do anything beyond 15 minutes.

That is where the bigotry comes in. The next debate is a town hall forum, this is where Clinton will bury him. The audience will be a nice mix and he will play on every boo and cheer and show himself up to be the reality tv personality he is.

It's a shame the wall didn't come up, I hope that's the first question in the next debate.
He is having second thoughts as he now realizes that's where his hotel staff and cocaine comes in to the country.

I still don't understand why poor/working class people vote for the GOP, I mean I have an idea why, but I just can't understand it.

Its the same people who would vote for Brexit despite living in areas which benefit mostly from the EU funds. Its cruel and unfair but some poor people tend to be poor for a reason.

Dont get this argument. Is it because she is a woman?

Haaaaaa! So after the debate, Trump said Holt did a great job. Now it's this.

Obviously he really did think the debate went well for him initially, and is now looking for someone to blame for his own ineptitude. Trying to sidestep the sniffling thing too by saying it was the microphone!
