Best news I've heard so far this week - will be brilliant to see Trump run; hope he pumps a lot of his own money into it as well.
I'd never be able to take the guy seriously as President.

Forgive my ignorance, but why the hate?
this seems like an opinionTrump is an ignorant asshole who gets into the Presidential race just to get more press. He knows he will never seriously run.
It is interesting that during the duration of the season of his show on TV (The apprentice) he says nothing political but as soon as its off the air, he just talks pure shit.
He had a query and wanted to get to the bottom of it, not sure what he did wrong? If it was such a daft thing the whole thing wouldn't have gotten any traction at all and laughed off, instead of bowing to it...He was one of the main loudmouths asking Barack Obama to produce his birth certificate, then Trump wanted to see his long form birth certificate...now Trump is asking for his college transcripts.
The disrespect he has shown to the President, just to rally his base and give himself more press is disgraceful. He is an awful human being.
Just being objective: You're overlooking the history of racism in America and it's impact on how people see Obama. What he did wrong was that he stoked the racist fires.
Not sure what you mean. There were actual question marks about him at the time, and he was the one that just pressed for the resolution.Just being objective: You're overlooking the history of racism in America and it's impact on how people see Obama. wow - you speculate a lot. Is this fact then? Or your opinion presented as fact again?!The GOP met on his inauguration night and vowed to make him a one term president "by any means necessary".
One of the primary reasons they hate him so much is that they cannot stand a black man in power.
The vitriol and blatant disrespect that Barack has experienced as President is something I have never seen another President go through in my lifetime.
ok - just being objective:

seriously!Im not sure you understand who the GOP base is, they do not believe in climate change, evolution or womens (or gay) rights. They have more in common with the Taliban than with regular North Americans.
by the way I am not agreeing or disagreeing, but your aggressive way of presenting 'facts' seems very similar to the guys you are actually belittling, ironicly. No, I am quoting facts, feel free to google anything I say.
seriously!
And you don't think these question marks had anything to do with the innate racism of the Republican party? Not sure what you mean. There were actual question marks about him at the time, and he was the one that just pressed for the resolution.

Right, and wasn't it crazy when they enacted all of that with their President's in the past...oh wait....Yes seriously, they think their way is the only one and that there should be no separation between Church and State.
I think that's a strong and unfounded accusation to make IMHO.And you don't think these question marks had anything to do with the innate racism of the Republican party?
not 'ideological' thenNo problem , you are free to believe me or not. I present facts which I know as true.
About the party that actively seeks to stop minorities from voting, and actively seeks to prevent immigration reform?I think that's a strong and unfounded accusation to make IMHO.
Bush got the same. Everyone followed the line of him being a dumbass and alcoholic. The GOP met on his inauguration night and vowed to make him a one term president "by any means necessary".
One of the primary reasons they hate him so much is that they cannot stand a black man in power.

Surely it's a Hillary Clintion landslide this? Another (implied) demographic rule-breaking presidential election on the cards.
I get the impression that there's a overwhelming sense of "It's time" feeling to her presidency...
There is that, but she also has to perform with a coherent strategy or else someone is going to knock her off her perch, much as Obama did in 2008.
If Donald Trump is a serious candidate, one imagines he isn't because of his polarising attitude on key issues in the past, but he will have a lot sh*t to shovel Hillary's way, both financially and politically. Could smear her campaign like never before seen.
