1) It is a fair trade. No collusion.
2) Point wise, the offers are comparable, so we are not taking giving a throwaway player for a good one.
3) We certainly did put in lot more effort in making this happen unlike others who have made offers or did not even make any.

and more importantly,

4) The quality of other offers is immaterial here. The trade is accepted. we made the offer fairly, pushed it through and were persuasive enough to make it happen.

This.

The fact that it is taking so long for this to be finalised is really an insult to us as individuals and our team, as we have done nothing but, promote and enhance the integrity of this league.

1) I believe you that there's no collusion. Still don't see this as a fair trade.
2) Umm, no they're not. Oh you mean if you add up both their numbers, they equal Gronk's. Seriously hope you're taking the piss here.
3) This should not have any bearing whatsoever.
4) Still has yet to be approved by Eboue. The fact that you were "persuasive enough to make it happen" is what is troubling. Like taking candy from a baby.

Like I said, this is a free league, all for a bit of fun, so I could care less. However if this was in a fantasy league that I paid to join, I'd have some issues with this trade.

Meh, doubt Gormless cares what we think about his fantasy football skills. The fact remains, trading Gronk for Jason Witten and Rashad Jennings is mind-boggling.

Honestly it had got to the point this year where I was just struggling to care. I was at work during the draft and I was saddled with a pretty shitty team by the computer and it got to the point where I couldn't make the playoffs anyway, it wasn't "my" team so I just did the trade when I came in slightly pissed last night

Being serious for a moment I think the main issue is it's a terrible trade and it's now going to strengthen a team that will more than likely be in the playoffs.

Based on what Gormless said above too it sounds like he's pretty much given up on his team at this stage which is why this trade is even more questionable.

Really? And had he accepted your offer, would you have the same opinions?

And it's not like we convinced a person when drunk. We asked for him weeks before, he refused us, then decided to tout to all. We persisted and finally won the deal.

It was there for all and we took it. Had he sold to JP77 or Joemo, it still would be to a playoff prospect team... So I'm baffled why why that argument is used against us now!

Because we are bitter, Gormeless needed a WR and TE, at least three teams offered that and he chose a deal that offered him a backup RB and TE as good as some of the free agents. We are just bitter because we know that Gormless lost completely but that's irrelevant.

If he accepted my offer (which for the record I forgot about and wasn't even sure I wanted to do as well as I probably didn't need to lose Kelce and Decker just to get Gronk) and then said on here how he'd pretty much given up on his team, was drunk when he accepted etc etc then I'd understand if anybody had an issue with the deal. Although there's no doubt that Kelce/Decker would have actually been a very fair trade for Gronk. Jennings/Witten isn't IMO. It's strengthening you in arguably your weakest area with the playoffs right around the corner.

I'm not too fussed. It's a game at the end of the day so if Eboue decides to let it go ahead then I'll have no problem accepting that.

My opinion remains unchanged. Poor trade made for the wrong reasons but not collusion so it can stand.

Apparently Lacy has weight problems.

Apparently?

We've started him several weeks. He's available for a running back though! As is any WR on our team.

Wish I could help but both of my back-ups are IA and the Bears refuse to give out an indication on Forte with his MCL.

There is an extra dimension to this fantasy with the New Orleans- Washington Points not coming through. Since I am not on Redzone I have no clue what is happening there :D

If the Vikings lose, my week is not going to be a good one.
