Just now seeing the real aftermath of all these injuries on my team. Not pretty.

Here wondering if I should start Marvin Jones or Travis Benjamin in my second WR slot.

Our team pretty much picks itself this week, 5 guys are on a bye week and another had limited practice

Dalton was on fire it seems...

Yes, 3 TD passes to Eifert but i was more referring to the impact of week 8 for everyone and that I only just now had the chance to look at what it meant for me.

Lost Forte probably to end of season, Allan definitely to end of season with that scary kidney injury. All of my WRs with Limited practice except the one who is playing Denver

So it wasn't really a complaint about my team but more a general statement about the impact of week 8 on this season.

If you're worried about our match-up, you'll easily pass me on Sunday as those 33 points come from 3 players in total (but you should be a little worried) :)

We were actually trying to get Eifert before this match. Be glad that did not go through :(

33 from 3 players is pretty decent. 10+ ratings for any player is never bad. Yes, you'd expect more from a QB..but still not a easy score to match. Fingers crossed.

Rivers may not have any proper receivers left so they may focus on the run a bit but I think your RBs will do enough. I think the whole world is afraid of Brees doing again what he did last week so that frees Ingram up and ivory has been good all season. Brown will benefit from Bell's absence.

You'll be fine. (regrettably :P )

Would have seriously considered bricking my screen if Crackers had have pulled it off against me this week. Three players on a bye and I scrape through by 5 points, my lowest scoring tally so far this season. Only one time has anybody scored 100 or more against Crackers, came into this week with just 602 points against him. He almost went 4-5 despite only scoring 460 points coming into this week!

I'm not hating btw Crackers

I offered a better deal, I shoud have been more aggressive.

I think I offered better as well(we all do probably) but I also think persuasion/negotiation is part of the game which Edgar Roman apparently did the best so fair play to him.

Silly from Gormless. I forgot to send in my offer of Decker and Kelce, surely he still could have got better than Witten/Jennings. This will strengthen Edgar/Roman big time.

Statistically speaking, We are taking a loss.

Romo is back, so Witten's going to almost double his average ppg, and Jennings is a solid RB - with more points than some big names.

Gronk isn't as effective as he'd like to be for NE, and the Pats have some tough match ups coming up - so he probably won't get easy looks being the focal point of defensive markings and all...

Gronk is also coming into a team that has 6 players with more points than him, and 1 player with less than 6 points behind him.

He already has two solid running backs and Witten isn't better than Gronk, you gave him two players that he doesn't need.:D

Jennings is better than Jaelen Strong that he sports in R/W/T now. In fact I'd rate him even above Carlos Hyde whose productivity has been quite bad recent weeks. Would be a definite starter as 3rd RB (far better than anything he can pick up in waivers now)

You are a crook but I don't blame you. :p

 What did I do? We came up with the trade first and negotiated with him consistently to get this.

I offered him Romo, Barnidge, Colston and Thompson as an additional option. He said he liked the deal but I am not too bothered since I still have a good TE.

As far as I am concerned the deal can stand

I'm not questioning whether someone offered a better deal, that's irrelevant. I just want to hear whether this passes basic fairness standards. I'm especially sensitive to this after some of the posts a week back about getting good players from teams that are out of it.

Gormless shopped Gronk, we offered him a good deal, and he accepted.

Pretty straight forward, if you ask me.

It's fair but I'm bitter.:)

I didn't see this trade until just now. On the face of it, this looks like a bullshit trade involving a last-place team and a contender. However, seeing how Gormless tried shopping Gronk puts it in a different light. Is the trade fair? Not really, but I blame that on Gormless' poor fantasy football managerial ability rather than assume there was any collusion going on. If this was a league where you have to pay to join, I doubt this trade goes through and I'd actually give a shit. Certainly not surprising to see Gormless in last place with decisions like these though. His team ain't that bad actually for a 14-team league.

That's a bit harsh Mr Leisure.

1) It is a fair trade. No collusion.
2) Point wise, the offers are comparable, so we are not taking giving a throwaway player for a good one.
3) We certainly did put in lot more effort in making this happen unlike others who have made offers or did not even make any.

and more importantly,

4) The quality of other offers is immaterial here. The trade is accepted. we made the offer fairly, pushed it through and were persuasive enough to make it happen.

Don't be a touchy rapscallion.:D
