2013 Golf Majors

That bastard shouting 'ridonkulous' at every tee shot on the 18th is pissing me off. Must be so annoying to stand next to him.

Imagine being the sort of cnut who can't go to a sporting event without looking for attention. Then imagine you're that cnut, but you also feel the need - despite the fact you're not a gameshow host, a drivetime DJ or the star of a mediocre sketch show - to develop your own catchphrase. Then imagine, after hours of careful thought, that the best you can come up with, the most imaginative thing your brain can throw out there, is "ridonkulous".

Living life as that person must be pretty bleak. Let him be.

Beers at the Masters are the cheapest I've ever had at any sporting event, even down to the college level. Probably accounts for Mr. Redonkulous.

I suppose you're right and we should feel pity for him. Then again he is probably incredibly drunk and at the masters so for that alone I hate him.

The best one I've seen is 'mashed potatoes' simply because its the most random one I've ever heard.

Well balls to that anyway, Day. Hasn't three-putted all tournament and then he proceeds to do it twice in the last two holes. Maybe coming off the pace will suit him better tomorrow.

He didn't look like he was going to handle leading from the front. If he can lurk and stay in the mix, he could yet do it. It all looks well set up for an interesting final day.

Should be an interesting few hours coming up. Still fancy Tiger to win it and that's not something I usually feel. Although Snedeker is my favourite out the rest. Stuck a couple of quid on Fowler each way at 66/1 to keep me interested.

Some low scores will be possible as the pins will be set up in all the catchment areas on the green.

I have Snedeker, Day and Fowler all still alive and in with shouts of a place. I'm hoping for all three to keep mistakes to a minimum and pick up the birdies that are undeniably out there. Personally, I think everyone on -2 and below is too far back to challenge. Even Tiger on -3 will need a monster round to get into contention, but you wouldn't rule it out.

I'd say if you're under par then you aren't completely out. The course will be set up for birdies but those at the top may play differently due to nerves etc. Only takes one bad hole for the top couple and it's blown even more wide open. The par fives will be key if anyone from far back is going to contend.

Of those close to the lead, Kuchar has probably been the most consistent on the par 5s in terms of shots gained. Snedeker has been pretty good in this regard, too. If I was to have a bet today on somebody coming off the lead to go close, it would be Kuchar. I highlighted him on Wednesday night and I am disgusted that I didn't throw a fiver on him.

Kuchar seems to know his way around the course pretty well. He was in contention last year so the experience may help but all those at the top have experience of being there on the last day at Augusta. I had a look at him too on Thursday morning but plumped for Bo Van Pelt instead.

Bit of a mixed bag so far today. Quite a few have scored poorly but there's also a few in the red on the scoreboard too. Hard to know how difficult the course is today. Traditionally on final day there are quite a few opportunities to score low.

Looks like it could be Day's day! Unbelievable chip by Day from the bunker.

I really dislike Snedeker, for that reason alone I am pretty sure he is going to win, he just birdied the first too.

Would love to see Tiger go on a surge around Amen corner and up the back 9, there are few better sights in sport.

Why don't you like Snedeker, ell? He's a grand lad, no airs or graces with him.

I really don't know, I think it is a bit unjust, I was thinking I didn't like him, and then I heard him in an interview yesterday and felt guilty as he seemed really nice.

Maybe it is rooted in some sort of Ryder Cup resentment, I am really not sure to be honest! Or just resentment that he won that tournament last year that bagged him $10m.

I am not sure who I would like to see win, perhaps Day, but would really love Tiger to go on a charge.

Who are you backing?

Fair enough. From what I hear, "Sneds" is a popular player on tour.

I have financial interest in this so my motives are completely selfish. I have both Day and Snedeker backed (backed Garcia and Fowler too) since Wednesday night so I'm getting a run for my money anyway. Fingers crossed!

I never understood disliking sportsmen really, except for the repeat offenders like Terry, Tiger and Lance or something. I've never gotten it.....used to bother me more, but I just let it go now, still don't get it though

Bernie langs to win imo.
