2013 Golf Majors

feck Rose! Id love to see Poulter win. The chap is a legend after the Ryder Cup. Hopefully he'll be remembered for more than that...

He's more than capable. His main problem and what he needs to find this week is some consistency.

Rose is a legend after the Ryder Cup in my eyes, some of those pressure putts he holed against mickelson took balls of steel.

During the build-up to this fine event, Colin Montgomerie had said the Masters was Lee Westwood's last chance to win a major. The Englishman had better shape up if that's the case. But Westwood, whose 40th birthday is fast approaching, responded with a stinging riposte: "I don't accept this is my last chance, whatever Monty says. There's a big difference between me at 39 and Colin at 39 - about eight stone I'd guess!" Ouch.

Boom mother fecker!

Double bogey though Lee. Shape up/

You would imagine that was the intention, but Colin has always been a prickly character. depends how good of mats they are.

Starts in 20 minutes on (what you see is what you get).tv

If you don't know what I mean by that say so and I'll pm you the link.

Broadcasting companies won't have coverage until 7pm UK time so you won't get any streams online until that time, mate. However, Amen Corner coverage begins at 3.45pm UK time so you may be able to get some streams of that when it starts.

Snedeker doubles the par 4 5th and drops back to even par. I know it's kind of obvious but you get the feeling that the winner this year will be the one who keeps these doubles to a minimum, or at least, doesn't allow them to affect their game. McIlroy looked the real deal in 2011 but one stutter suddenly affected his mindset and the rest is history. You rarely get a second chance on this course.

A real steady eddie would be a good bet. I was half thinking in throwing a few quid at Harrington cos he seems to be coming back to form again and he really is a steady player when he's on song.

Harrington is a good shout but I still feel he isn't the best at handling pressure. Didn't his putting implode coming down the straight here last year?

I thought the early morning scoring would be better myself to be honest. Usually the first-round leader posts a -6 score on the Thursday. As the greens get more difficult in the afternoons, you'd expect the early players to be posting well, but they haven't really yet. Plenty of time yet, though.

Like to see GMAC doing well - class guy and player.

No surprise to see Westwood and Donald starting poorly before perking up a tad. Both unprofessional and from what I hear, both do little warm up before playing. It shows.

Furyk and Westwood both hit poor tee-shots on 13. It should have suited Weir being a left-hander but he didn't get much fade on it. I love the 13th hole, a cracking test for the golfers.

5 each ways on Rory, Dustin Johnson, Mickelson, Westwood and big outsider one......Rickie Fowler -_-

All give me a profit, though Rory and Mickelson not so much unless they both finish top 5.
