From a British/European PoV, Fisher has pushed himself up the pecking order with this and this and the Masters beforehand. He might just have the mental strength to see him to victory one of these times. A quality that some of the rest cannot claim too currently.

Such a strong yet quiet performance by him, seeing his name lurking I told people who weren't sure of him that he was one to watch...

The Open is going to be a game-changer for this years golf season.
 
Harrington doing his best to be beaten by Tiger. 3 ahead one minute, lucky to be one ahead the next minute. Could be an interesting last round...
 
Watching now, Tiger on the prowl, not much more exciting in sports than a Sunday with Tiger.
 
He was 30 for the first 9. Harrington is playing well but he needs to be making birdie after birdie to keep up with Tiger.
 
On another note, Harrington is completely outdriving Woods... 388 yard drive there three of four holes ago. That is serious length for someone who had no swing until last Thursday.
 
Great stuff! Would love to see Pod win again and it'd set up next week's major nicely with those two in the same three ball on Thu/Fri.

I've got John Rollins at 35/1 pre tourney in the Tahoe Open too, 5 clear at the moment, his to lose (which he has done in the past mind you).
 
fecks sake Harrington makes a school boy error then Tiger hits one the best shot Ive ever seen. He smells blood!

Wouldnt mind usually but I have Harrington at 33/1 and backed him again earlier at 9/4!!!
Cmon lad my holiday fund needs a boost.

What the hell happened? Woods was walking away with it, I got for a pizza, come back, and Harrington had a 3 shot lead on the final hole? What happened? Not that I am complaining.

It does seem as though Tiger wants this one to silence the critics, yet again
 
I don't think people understand what an accomplishment it would be if Tiger managed to surpass Nicklaus' 18 majors. Greatest athlete of all time in my opinion.
 
Not that anyone else cares but Mickelson takes the Tour Championship.

Looked great the last few days, rejuvenated by reverting back to his old putting stroke. Tiger in second and wins the Fed Ex Cup overall.

Going to be a great battle between those two again in 2010.
 
Yeah I reckon he will be as hungry as ever, reckon he will win The Masters
 
Well he needs to sort himself out, he used to be so good on Sunday, seems to go backwards nowadays!

+4 today at the HSBC, only two others players doing worse out there.
 
He's sorted himself out alright, 3 birdies in a row!

Gonna be a great finish to this one.
