Best looking numbers right now is Westwood at 17-1 and Hamilton at 67-1
 
More rain, gah this has been a poor Major. Just too stop start so far. Hoping for a Westwood or Garcia maiden victory.
 
I wouldn't mind seeing Garcia go his whole career without winning a major. I find it hilarious that David Duval ranked 882 in the world is in 4th place haha
 
Why the Garcia hate?

Duval's an odd one, hasn't won since his Major in 2001 I don't think!
 
Duval has been awful since as well.

I just think Sergio is a bit of prick, who clearly loves himself. He has a great game, I will give him that; but at this point in his career he hasnt shown he has the balls to win a major.
 
Bit petulant at times I guess, very entertaining though all that emotion.

He does have some mental issues when it comes to the game though, if he could sort his putting out who knows what he could have achieved but there's till time and I'd like to see how he'd fare after winning one.
 
You guys gotta remember Duval's injuries/personal issues were both physically and mentally draining... as good as he once was, he buckled under pressure alot in majors, between 1998-2001 he had something like 13 top 20's and 10 top 10's in majors, but his worst scoring round was (You guessed it) the 4th round.

I wouldn't count them out just yet, especially leftie. He is only four shots out of second place, and the leader has never won a tourney before. Still 1.5 rounds to go, so anything could happen.
 
Yeah looking better now but they were 12 behind when I posted that with the leader yet to drop a shot.
 
I could see a six shot swing on the final round, especially with an inexperienced leader. A lot depends on how Barnes finishes today. If he drops another two or three shots a lot of players will have a chance tomorrow.

He has been dialed in through the first three rounds BUT now he wakes up leading the open and playing in the final group. Who knows how he will handle that pressure. If one of the trailers like leftie can get two or three birdies early they could be within touching distance if Barnes starts nervy.
 
His bogey to end the third round was careless

Watching last years final forgot Lee Westwood was so close last year too.

Tiger is about to putt to tie it up, anyone wanna bet their entire life earnings against me? He'll make this putt...
 
Leftie only 5 shots off the lead with 95% of the 4th round to play.
 
Well I was silly for writing off Mick and Tiger, they always finish well as the others bottle it.

Still might be too little too late like the Masters.

The way the strokes are dropping, I wouldn't be shocked if this continues later on and tommorow with a playoff

Not quite with Glover still got the par 5 to go. He's +3 today though and all the pressure on him after seeing that on the board.
 
Yeah, good recovery from the rough from Mickleson. Fisher making a move too.

Good finish to this, tournament finally living up to its major billing.
 
I don't think Glover is going to make it.Hopefully Fisher can do it after Mickleson's bogey on 15th.

EDIT:Fisher is going to bogey 15th too.Looking like a very tight finish.
 
Leftie birdies one of the last three he will take the title IMO.
 
Three way tie between Leftie, Glover and Duval with a couple of holes left. Fisher and and Barnes just one back.

Could be going to another 18-holes.
 
Is Mickleson destined to never win a damn US Open?! Glover in pole position now.
 
Glover wins, pretty underwhelming to be honest. The whole crowd were against him.

Not the best major ever...
 
Yet it was still a lot more exciting than 90% of Tigers wins. When he is up on day four its all over, no one else is winning. At least today three or four players had a shot of winning and it was still up in the air with two holes and twenty minutes to go. Not thrilled with the Glover win but it was a fairly good finish IMO.
