Should be exciting with Tiger joining the group before the Masters by the sounds of things.

Hope Justin Rose gets his head straight and goes on to win one of the 4 !

Rose is all over the place at the moment, another poor round today in Qatar.

The race to Dubai is making the European Tour more attractive though and we're seeing some good fields early on.

Hoping the young lad McIlroy gets his first win in 2009, exciting prospect.

McIlroy wins! Shame I wasn't on him this week. Did his best to bottle it though, bogeying the 15th, 16th and 17th before holding on.

Rose came second, looks to have sorted his game out.

Good to see.

When is the first Major?

First major is the Masters, usually around easter time. Hopefully Tiger will be back. And is this the year Garcia finally wins that major?!

Interested to see how Tiger recovers.

And Garcia is long overdue, as is Westwood.

Just a win would be good at the moment, overdue for any tourney!

Tiger transcends sport. Love watching the guy play he is just pure class, cant believe he won the US Open with torn knee ligaments and a broken leg, humans just dont do that sort of thing, some of the shots he made were unreal

Yup yup, couldn't have said it better myself.

Anyone who hates Tiger doesn't deserve vision.

McIlroy up to 15th in the world already. He could be a serious contender to Tiger's best golfer on the planet claim within the next few years.

Tiger's back tonight.

How will he do? Will he knee really make him an even better player?

He has stated that he has never felt so good when playing golf... Will be frightening if he turns out to be better than before :)

THIS. Can't wait to see him. I don't watch Golf if he isn't playing. Can't wait to see how he does. They're saying that he may have lost a bit of power but his accuracy should be EVEN better:eek::drool:

Yeah the word round the camp is that he was given distance accuracy training during his recovery as opposed to re-strengthening the knee, using and relying more on his arms.

ESPN reported he has given a tee to pin test at a driving range in Florida, in which the Tiger Re-hab team paid the range $400,000, where there'd be 20 pins set up through the course, with trees and bunkers JUST for him... He reached all 20 pins within 10 feet in something like 22 shots, and holed 2 of them

That's insane.

What time does this start. Coverage here (UK) doesn't start for another 50 minutes, then clashes with the footy

He's the favourite by a mile already, good to have him back.

Listened to some bits of the coverage last night, they were saying that he looked to be hItting the ball harder than he used to, which is scary if true. But Woods -McIlroy round three. Could be interesting.

Its the best hangover tv in the world. And matchplay is awesome to watch

The only bad thing about Tiger's comeback is having to listen to 'GET IN THE HOLEEEEE' again. Didn't miss that one bit.

They were shouting that at the Malaysasian open a few weeks back. Some wanker started it and its caught on everywhere.

Tiger's out, lost to Tim Clark who shot something like 5 under today.

Villegas looks dangerous.

Sergio is shit, how the feck did he have a no.1 seed is beyond. Im sure some European is gonna pop on here and say he is fecking brilliant or something, fact of the matter he makes Mickleson look like Palmer

He's the Chicago Cubs of golf... sure you won some things here and there, but until you prove yourself on the big stage, you're second to everyone.

Alex your clueless, I'm not his biggest fan, but he is an excellent player.

Great to see Rory go through. :D

He is not shit, but come on, are you singing Micks' praises, he is a far better player. Majors mean a lot more than anything else and well Sergio doesn t have any, I used to like the guy to, before he became even more of a choke artist than Mick, who I am not the biggest fan of myself

South Korea's YE Yang held his nerve down the stretch to claim his first victory on the PGA Tour in the Honda Classic. He looked great all weekend.

Another good performance from Rory McIlroy. A 69 to finish joint 14th. Not bad for one of his first events on the American tour.

McIlroy again having a stormer. What a prospect.

Harrington looks a lot better than he has done since he won his last major.

Just saw Happy Gilmore, great fecking player, never see players hit it that far thesedays

Shooter McGavin was decent too, but how can you like a guy who eats pieces of shit for breakfast

He is 12th on the PGA Tour Career earnings list despite playing a large part of his career to date on the European Tour. He is also younger than the 11 players ahead of him on that list. Sure he hasn't fulfilled his early promise but he is a long way of being shit, and you know it.

With 7 plus years on the pack in front of him he will probably make the top three or four on that list in the next ten to fifteen years. He is also one of the highest earners when it comes to off-course earnings.

Give me a break, there is a before Tiger era and and after Tiger Era in terms of earnings, I'd take John "I'm fecking Drunk" Daly's career over his career anyday.

He outearned Nickalus and Palmer, better than them?????

He does play most of his time in Europe but last time I checked he pops back in for all the Majors played in the US.

He is shit to anyone who think he has lived up to any of his hype, yeah he is a decent golfer, dare I say very good, but not that special
