"Did you see Fabinho against Red Star & Cardiff?"
It just never changes with the United States. The same thing happens over and over again and nothing changes.
How can you look at a child and decide to shoot?
Day 144 of 2022... wow!198 mass shootings in the US in 2022 alone.
Top lawyer in Texas…
How else does one do it at that stage? Hopefully it was with sympathy & grace. That is absolutely horrific. You don't tell people their kids are dead like they've been eliminated from the X-factor.

'stop politicising this tragedy'
It's political decisions that allow these things to happen. It is fecking political!
Treat it like a religion then. Kill the gun extremists like you'd kill religious extremists. Problem solved.Guns are a religion here.
I really don’t get it.Guns are a religion here.
As others have pointed out, when they did absolutely nothing after Sandy Hook they'll never do a damn thing. Just google Sandy Hook victims and look at the pictures of all those lovely kids. If you don't care as a nation to take the neccessary steps needed to reduce the chances of these shootings to keep happening after an event like Sandy Hook then you are beyond help. The United States seriously need to start smelling the fecking coffee at this time.
Many Americans don't believe guns are the problem, that guns don't kill people, people do. So the solution would be to arm the teachers.I really don’t get it.
I get that there’ll be large numbers in America who will never want to give up their guns/rights but surely after so many of these events, so many people killed, so many young people killed.. arent they the minority?
Don’t the majority of Americans think “that’s it, I want our politicians to change the law”?
If my congressperson/senator (sorry I don’t know how the US political setup works) was pro guns, I’d probably want them voted out. If they haven’t been, that suggests that most voters either specifically want gun rights to remain unchanged OR are neutral about the subject.
Again, I don’t get it. As an outsider looking in, seems mental that this keeps happening and there’s no public/political will to change things.
We could try telling republicans that women are using guns for abortionsDrop the current tactics and rhetorics, they don’t work.
Overturn of DC vs Heller and a blanket gun ban + confiscation/buy back scheme, that’s what needed to end the carnage. If you don’t have the balls to state your goals and just skirt around the issue with half hearted bandage measuring like national registry, checks etc…, this will keep on happening.
Criminals will always find a way to get illegal gun. Banning weapons and the right to bear arms and protect yourself just leaves you defence less against these shooters.I really don’t get it.

If an illegal gun cost 30k bucks instead of the 1 grand it costs now to buy in legally in Wal-Mart, shooting up a school might not be the best return of investment.Criminals will always find a way to get illegal gun. Banning weapons and the right to bear arms and protect yourself just leaves you defence less against these shooters.
All these schools should have trained and armed security personnel. Ex military or law enforcement.
After something like this thinking we don’t need guns is absurd.
Criminals will always have access to guns, banning guns help the criminals more then the innocent.
And yet in Europe you don't have to think about schools needing armed security. Weird that isn't it? I wonder why?Criminals will always find a way to get illegal gun. Banning weapons and the right to bear arms and protect yourself just leaves you defence less against these shooters.

You can buy guns at 18 but can't buy alcohol until 21? Wow.He bought 2 assault rifles on his 18th birthday and that's cool, ffs. How does that not raise a red flag?
I own guns, I live in Ireland, once I go above 3 guns I'm subject to a home visit from the cops and a detailed investigation, I'm 43 and have held firearms licences for most of my life, but I'm fine with all that.
How does an 18 year old buy a couple of assault rifles on the first day he can and not raise some suspicion?
I'm hoping I'm missing the sarcasm here, it's late where I live, I'm tired.Criminals will always find a way to get illegal gun. Banning weapons and the right to bear arms and protect yourself just leaves you defence less against these shooters.

Those people are idiots. Many Americans don't believe guns are the problem, that guns don't kill people, people do. So the solution would be to arm the teachers.
I guess the gun lobby contribute more than the alcohol lobby. You can buy guns at 18 but can't buy alcohol until 21? Wow.

Similar. It’s always a bit different when it’s young kids though.Completely desensitised to it at this stage which I know is awful
And when one of the armed security personnel suddenly kills 30 kids, what’s next?Criminals will always find a way to get illegal gun. Banning weapons and the right to bear arms and protect yourself just leaves you defence less against these shooters.

That I agree with you, I think thrust should be changed on what guns you can or can’t buy and at what age and more in depth screeningYou can buy guns at 18 but can't buy alcohol until 21? Wow.
I really don’t get it.

Feck, I knew America had issues but if 60% have seen hundreds of school kids die year after year and still think the current gun laws are acceptable, I despair. The NRA/GOP/Gun manufacturers basically have a 'zero budging' policy. And the gun nuts have been told non stop that the libs are coming for their guns and once they do the government will own them. And there are enough people like Alex Jones that will make a large portion of the base think this was planned or fake.
You'd think even if guns aren't banned, the GOP could agree to mandatory training or some sort of mental testing, but no, they will never give an inch. They're paid by the gun corporations to basically do what Ted Cruz did, deflect and blame the liberals.
There is no common sense for 60% of the US population, so this will never get better. It can only get worse.
