It might have for Torino and Real when they now know for sure Zlatan won't be here and our sources has said that we want a number nine. I knew I would make it difficult for United if I was having a striker the club wanted.

Haha I wish, but I heard Instagram shows your mutual follows first, so if someone from Full Time Devils was looking at his followers those ones would be top of list. I hope though.

Damn it! I have a couple of exceptions to this rule when checking who he follows, but I guess you're right. IG should sort that shit out for summer transfer windows, they'd get more hits from muppets, too.

I'm certainly not an expert but I don't think it does. I went on to his page and the follower at the top was Mata, who I wasn't following.

I just checked unfortunately it does show mutual people you follow first. I thought it was on. :(

No it doesn't. I checked his Instagram and the mutual follows are random. So it looks he did follow all the United players just now.
No, not when you look at mutual followers. Just when you look at a list of all of his followers, common interests/follows are thought to be top of list. I don't know for sure it's what I read and seems to make sense. None of it will be random, I'd imagine. There will be all sorts of scripts running in the background like with all of these social media things. e.g. if you're thinking of going to New York so you Google New York, suddenly your Facebook will hit you with ads for trips to New York.

EDIT: basically Instagram knows you're a United fan so puts United players etc. at the top of his list.

His most recent follow is Connor McGregor.

I don't really use Insta but my account is following a couple of United players. Checked Morata's following and they're in random order, no United players at the top, so not sorted by similar interests. Checked via the Android app and it's still random.

Yeah, you are right. The Chelsea fan's tweet proves it. I guess I'm getting desperate for any hint of a signing

Had a look on his Twitter page, where the most recent followers are getting shown. Nothing United related.

Cool I hope so, because I really want the guy to sign now!

Yeah just checked a couple of players I follow, and the list is definitely not sorted by common accounts followed. Seems it varies.

What an amazing world we live in: in the space of twenty minutes Instagram confirms he's signing, is debunked, confirms he's signing again, is debunked again, and starts a thousand arguments over whether Instagram has or has not confirmed the transfer.

I love it!

God I don't know any more mate! I just had a moment where I couldn't believe I'm looking at players Instagrams and Twitter profiles! Transfer time just gets crazier every year and I can't help getting sucked in.

Aye, love the Caf! (I know I started it :nervous:)

To me, both ig & twitter show the lists randomly sorted, or at least not by common followed accounts.

Watched his compilation against Colombia just now. His overall play is really poor. He didn't do a single good stuff apart from his goal, he showed his poor first touch a few times as well. There were clips when he missed pass and wasn't able to hold the ball. I understand why Zidane doesn't play him much. Makes me wonder if he can survive in PL or no. But I ain't the manager. I'm fully trust in the players that Jose is going to bring in.

I haven't seen the Colombia match, but he's overall play isn't poor. He might have had an off day especially coming on as a sub in a meaningless game but his general play is normally very good.

Just watch Belotti's game against Uruguay and compare them both. Atleast Morata had a few good moments in the game. Belotti didn't even make a single pass. If we miss out on Morata, we will probably try to sign Belotti only.

His actual link up game is pretty good. He keeps his head down a lot but his overall game is very positive.

bellotti has his fare share of poor touches too, both have chances of failure as PL defenders doesnt allow any time on ball
There are plenty of strikers in the PL who have a bad first touch but managed to do quite well. Lukaku is the best example.

Lukaku also has goals under his belt. The whole arguement for this guy was that he is a better player than Lukaku and brings his team into play more.

If your going to stick up for him do it right. Too much mixed messages, it's like half the people on here don't actually know frig all about him.

I was talking about Belotti there.

Stop taking every quote said in the media seriously, and above this, stop taking instgram following seriously.

These things are really irrelevant.

Everything is relevant, that be it a haircut, colour of shorts, social media followings, body language etc.

The Pogba saga should have teached you that much. We even analyzed and intepreted the colour of Raiola's shorts.

Pogba saga has tought me the opposite, actually.

Transfers are done on the table only.

Morata is average and has a much lower ceiling than both Rashford/Martial. I'd much rather we give Chelsea 50m for Costa and get the last world class years out of him while Rashford develops as 9 than bring in this guy.

Complete and utter rubbish.

Seems to me that right now, we have two options: Morata or Belotti.

Madrid don't need to sell, they know we have limited options, you can't blame them for being difficult. I think we'll have to get stung on either Morata or Belotti to be honest, obviously the fee they want is absurd but I don't think we have much of a choice.

I trust Palmeri about as far as I can throw him, but Di Marzio did say we've made a bid, so I tend to believe we're definitely in negotiations with Madrid. And if we're in negotiations, that makes a transfer much more likely than if it was just paper talk about "preparing" bids or any of that nonsense. You don't usually negotiate if there's no intent on either side to do a deal.

I'm sure we'll find a middle ground, including add-ons.

It's immaterial because we aren't going to go into next season relying on Martial as our main striker, nor should we. Maybe he'll end up a better striker than Morata, maybe he won't, it could easily go either way. We're signing someone to play up front and I think Morata is probably the best available option
