  1. Ruben Amorim - Manchester United Head Coach

I imagine it's more important to a manager to have a team playing badly, but who listen and do everything he asks - rather than have a bloated squad with egotistical primadonna's, shrouding the club in drama but finishing ever so slightly higher up the table.
  2. Will Harry Kane ever win a trophy? | No

I agree personally, but would argue that Shearer for example, is remembered more for being the prem's leading goal scorer, rather than for the 1 league title he won in 95'.
  3. There's nothing on earth like being a red

Genuinely not felt that in years. We've had some great comebacks since as well - but that was something else.
  4. Ruben Amorim - Manchester United Head Coach

My theory is that they've identified the last 10 minutes of a game as the most likely time to pick up an injury - and because we've had such bad luck so far, they're playing safe by getting them off.
  5. Rasmus Højlund | 2024/25 Performances

I know it’s not much but I was pleased to see him running the channels against spurs. That’s one part of Ruben’s ‘system’ that’s essential from the striker.
  6. Rasmus Højlund | 2024/25 Performances

Whilst I'm not Mount's biggest fan, I can't understand this conclusion. You're spot on about his fitness, and that's what makes your first point wrong - he's not had a chance to prove whether he's good enough. Lastly, 'a club like united' is a club (still) in transition. We're 12th in the...
  7. Marcus Rashford (out) | signs for Villa on loan

It sounds harsh, but it's the old point of 'keep your personal life out of work'. I imagine hundreds of player's before him have suffered similarly through life problems and events but it can never be an excuse. If it was all that important, they would retire. It could be a whole host of...
  8. Douglas Luiz

Would be fantastic - but can't see it so late in the window unless it's a loan and potentially someone like Casemiro leaves.
  9. Transfer Tweets - Manchester United - 2024/25

I think a raw player who understands how to play the position can be more effective than an experienced player who does not. I would sooner trust an U18 striker to play upfront than an experienced premier league central midfielder, for example.
  10. Alejandro Garnacho (out) | Chelsea make enquiries

I really don't believe either the player or manager want him to leave. I think it's a club decision - I'm hoping as you said, that there is a 'too late' and we don't sell him without an immediate replacement lined up. We'd become even weaker.
  11. Ruben Amorim - Manchester United Head Coach

Good lord, what did he do to you?!
  12. Alejandro Garnacho (out) | Chelsea make enquiries

I think above all, he is one of our best players currently - and it's always sad to see your best players leave. But, if it's to the betterment of the team, then it is what it is. We've lost huge talents before and in hindsight it was a huge win. The money being floated around is very decent -...
  13. Amorim: «We are maybe the worst team in Man United history»

I don't see that at all. With Ruud in charge, he would have kept an easy 4-2-3-1, and players would essentially be told to just play their game. With only minor tactical guidance, this team was/is more than capable of surviving and more probably finishing mid-table. Amorim is adamant in his...
  14. Randal Kolo Muani | on loan to Juventus

We need 3 Strikers. If this guy is Rashford's eventual replacement then it makes sense. Then we will hopefully look to get another in the summer if Zirkzee leaves. That's the only way this makes sense to me.
  15. Bruno Fernandes | 2024/25 Performances

He's let us down badly with 2 of the red cards this season. I think we need to look at parting ways in the summer. It's a very strange feeling to think we should sell our obviously best player, but I feel we need to build a different team, and one that he doesn't fit into. He doesn't have the...
