Yep plus we’ve gone down from 4 to 3 attackers in this formation. Could have done with Amad out there and maybe Garnacho starting.

When our games come round, the question I ask myself is: can our players complete 90 min without making individual errors and not conceding from set pieces? The evidence of last 7 games would suggest no, but i am happy to be proven wrong!

I would be starting Casemiro over Mainoo all day. Ugarte/Casemiro was like the one good combination we stumbled on this season and now it's gone.

I don't mind Amorim's rotation to see who's got what but Casemiro over Mainoo would have been the right option in this sitiuation.

Mainoo takes care of the ball while Casemiro loves giving it to the opponents, which is a pretty big deal for a manager who wants to dominate possession

Are they going to pay the money we want and match his salary? What world does this seem likely? We’re not going to loan them Rashford mid season to help them try and win a title.

Because he is super slow, loves giving away freekicks and taking yellow cards & gives the ball away like christmas presents? I know Kobbie hasn't been in great form but surely Casemiro has shown he's not the answer in this system.. Should be on his way out so we can have mobile players coming in.

Attacking options off the bench are pretty depressing. We’ve been having this problem, we go behind, the game gets into a set pattern, and we don’t have someone coming off the bench to create a new dimension or different type of threat to our attack. If Bruno and Amad are not creating, we can’t score.

Still, I’m optimistic. I think we’ll win this game.

I'm not sure if there's an idiom in Portuguese for having egg on your face, but a couple of the Utd. coaches should learn the English meaning

Well I don’t think we’ve seen him enough in this system to make that judgement at all. Extra person at set pieces too.

It’s a real shame losing the games against forest and Bournemouth as wins would have put us in a great position with the results of others.

Will be nice if we can cut out the lapses today and attack with a bit more purpose.

Obviously he was not a fit with the tactics we were using under ETH but Pellistri would have been a great option as an attacking RWB behind Amad. Wonder what the buy back figure in his deal was.
