2-2 draw i am predicting. We are poor either end, but seem to usually pull out a result against sides lower than us.Two incredibly grim seasons on the bounce. Every time I make an optimistic comment on a match day thread they shit the bed again, so might as well call a spade a spade.Expecting another random team from Amorim seeking something, anything. It would be typical of us to lose to Bournemouth and Wolves, only to then turn around and secure victories against Newcastle and Liverpool.
Yeah don't expect a result from these lot any time soon. It's all disjointed, morale is in the pits, we are terrible at attacking, we are extremely vulnerable on set pieces and terrible at them ourselves. At the moment we don't have any of the major attributes to win games.Impossible to name an 11

Do we? I thought we pulled out results against sides that are meant to be better than us. Like city. Teams that are above us but shouldn’t be like Bournemouth, forest etc. there the tough games who are over performing this season. Wolves away on paper is a very tough game, even tougher since it’s their new managers first home game.
Newcastle is probably an easier game than this. They rarely ever beat us at home. Think they’ve won at our place like once in 11 years.
This is how it must have felt to support United in the 80s.
Would certainly be a miracle if Zirkzee scores twice in 1 match.

Weirdly he's OK for stats given its his debut year and still bedding in. Averaging a goal or an assist every 169mins, and a lot of these minutes are him coming off the bench.

I think the fact that we were relatively poor in that match got overlooked in the euphoria of the ending. It basically looked like a match between two relegation standard teams. I like the structure under Amorim but the tinkering so far is harming any chances of getting consistent performances. Hopefully we will start to see slightly more steady team selections going forwards.
If we can get a left wing back and CF in during January then hopefully we can kick on and at least end the season with some encouragement.
