Biggest issue is of course we just don't have enough quality and creativity in this team. Bruno has lost his edge. Amad looking weak. Hojlund is wrestling. And Mainoo hasn't found his form from last year. Where will the goals come from..
Love Ugarte though, that was a solid purchase.

I don't see the downside of subbing him on for Mainoo at the half. It's not like he could provide any less energy in midfield.
It could also be for Bruno, moving Mainoo up to the 10 position.The difference in technical and fitness level is mid boggling. Forget about tactical play, the players are knackered.

Attack: awfulReally concerned about Mainoo. Has dropped off massively and I think his passing ability needs a lot of work.We have to get a new striker in soon. A lot gets made of Zirkzee but Hojlund is just as bad.This is not working. Our right side is completely not in the game, and Kobbie is ineffective in midfield. We need a lot more going forward.
I'd bring on Garnacho and Zirkzee (unfortunately the only two attacking options) for Yoro and Mainoo. Move Maz back to RCB, Amad to RWB, and Bruno back into midfield. Play the subs behind Hojlund
Happens all the time at OTWhen I watched Newcastle - Villa - I saw a lot of players in midfield who ran forward with pace and technique - and started attacks. And then I see Bruno, Ugarte and Mainoo - and none of them can run
