Yes I did see the game. I also heard Ole talked about Matic after the game... therefore I predict like this. I think the biggest issue last game was Fred so thats also why I predict a new chans for Matic.
Martial needs to get game-tempo, therefor I predict that Ole start him again.

But I think you got a god point on both players, if that should make them automatic benchplayer the next game is another question....
Martial needs to run, don't think starting games have anything to do with that. I'm a big fan of Martial but god no please don't start him. Maybe in a home match or against some lesser opponent in the CL but not this game please. We absolutely need the three points.

Got a bad feeling about today. We went for excellent to poor in one move - and I fear that the "bad" is on the way. That feeling will be increased if Ole continues to think Marital is our No. 9...

He probably don't have 90 minutes in the body yet, so some running is also needed. But you don't get the game-tempo without playing games.
He was awful last game but so was 7-8 other players (he was the worst). But I think he gets a new chans today. I think the big reason is because I think (and hope)Pogba will play in the middle.

I think i'd rather Mata playing than Martial. Such a waste of talent.

    No messing around today.

    De Gea
    AWB Varane Maguire Shaw
    Fred VDB
    Sancho Bruno Pogba
    Greenwood

Matic will probably play for VDB as Ole just doesn't seem to trust him, but there is absolutely no justification for Sancho and Varane not starting. They've both had two weeks of training.

What I mean was he needs to actually run, not jogging around like last match. That has nothing to do with getting match fit mate. Look at how Cavani plays and you'd see the huge difference. And Cavani is 34 yo ffs.

Interested to hear your rationale behind choice of first vs last name - 'Harry', but not 'Luke'. 'Mason', but not 'Jadon'... intriguing.

Come on United, just need a 2-0 minimum win and hope for a Watford miracle against Spurs to be on top at the international break.

......and keep Matic the hell away from that starting XI ffs.

Leaving shortly for the game - any suggestions where to park?
There's a big park called West Park about a 5 minute walk from the ground. There's a ring road all the way around it with free parking spaces on it. We got on there no problem for the cup game a couple of years ago.

I think we need to brace ourselves for the real possibility that he's going to drop Pogba into the midfield and start Dan James.

I don't like this it doesn't feel right watching us play without Ronaldo

He’s not going to start VDB is he. The hope really is that with Varane, he won’t have to play the double pivot, and can play Donny. I just fully expect to see Fred and Matic again.

That would be a very pleasant surprise. Great line up.
I feel Ole worries too much about the opposition in away games, as oppose to playing our best and letting them worry about us. But he's on this amazing away run so maybe he knows best.

Martial needs to look at himself first and foremost and ask himself if he is always giving 100%. Very rare indeed that he does that.
Next, he needs to look at Ronaldo and learn what it takes to be a top player.

Aaaa understand now...and you are right about that :0) no one gets stronger by putting the shoes on the pitch.
I would prefer Cavani to start this game but I don't think he will. I got a feeling hes not ready. Pogba I hope plays in the middle. James I dont rate, Rashford out, Greenwood was great on top against Leeds and Sancho own the right side. That kind of makes Martial a option good enough the first 60 minutes. When everyone is back hes not a starter, and probably sellable in december...

I think that's the hope eventually, but if Varane does play today Ole will be worried about leaving him exposed, so he'll play Fred and Matic.

The thing is I dont think he is bothered, he is on 250k weekly, dont think he wants more actually.
I hope he is gone sooner than later, tired of making excuses for him.
Greenwood, about 6years younger showing more game intelligence and desire.

Forgot about the shitty international break. Feck it's so frustrating.

Sancho and Varane better bloody start. We really must win today and get some momentum going again....even though the international break will kill it anyway
