James is to track Traore. I don't think Ole trusts Sancho or Pogba to do that. This is my problem with Ole. Would Pep or Klopp do this ? You have a brilliant team now and just play to your strengths. Let Wolves adjust their tactics

Once upon a time people on here moaned about Nani on our right wing. Now there's fans justifying Ole starting a winger that can barely play football.
Who cares does he know how to play football. He tracks back

That is some fecking wall, you savage. I really hope we don't see this today.

Souness praising Pogba. (Albeit balanced with criticism)

Would Klopp or Pep do what you have guessed? Doubt it. Neither will Ole.

Not really. Wolves are a heavily defensive counter attacking team. What exactly will James offer?

And just to make the point....what could James do better than Dalot and Dalot can't get a start at all.
Wolves aren't a counter attacking team this year. Played quite well in the Las 2 matches.

Of course it will be. You didn't buy all that talk of 433 did you?
Course I did...I truly hoped Ole would have seen after match day 1 and see how good Pogba can be if you let him play freely rather than stifle him at the back...then I saw the team sheet, got the pen and paper out, wrote down who'd play where to make it into a 433 and my eyes started to get a little damp as not possible.

Too many really good players playing out of position with Ole thinking they can have the same influence anywhere on the pitch rather than where they actually did the damage and why we bought them...eg Sancho on the left, Pogba holding player

I'm excited about the season but it looks like we are still moving top players around in positions they are not best at playing - I don't see City or Liverpool doing that

Hopefully Varane gives enough solidity now so Fred is OK on his own in midfield. It will be a good test of what we need in midfield.

Holy Feck, Sourness complimenting Pogba. Have I been teleported to another dimension

I would’ve kept Pogba on the LW where he’s been the first two games and played Donny in midfield, but oh well…

You just know that we will lose this game ffs. Can just feel it, Wolves create a lot of chances and a we have a new CB starting.

There is no obsession with Donny i dont think, its just some of us would like to see him, see what he can do with a runof 3 or 4 games. I mean Christ i honestly cant even remember what he looks like. And its not like he has amazing midfielders in front of him.

Sancho played on the left plenty for Dortmund (was fluid)

Ole knows exactly what to say sometimes. The Ronaldo age comment is perfect for creating that fighting, siege mentality dynamic that Ronaldo will need to light up the league when he finally arrives.

People thinking Wolves are going to sit back and barely attack are in for a surprise. Hopefully Varane and Maguire instantly click, otherwise I think we'll concede at least one today. But with that attack we should have more than enough to win today.

    No excuses, must win.

Won't happen under Ole's watch, so I didn't even mind including him... And he hasn't shown anything to deserve a starting spot.
He could be good in that position god knows we need players there and he's worth a shot. But as you say not an Ole player.

Needs a run of games to prove whether he has a future here. If ole doesn't fancy him then why is he still here? Should have been sold and used the money for someone else.
