Watching the past decade, I understand why Everton still think they’re a big club. The mind plays tricks.

Club is broke. The squad is devoid of any talent. The football is boring. The stadium is falling down. And our rivals City and Liverpool are decades ahead of us. This is rock bottom for me. We are only heading in one direction and its not up
    Pretty much

Lots of them. 13 losses and losing more games than we won.

Worst goalscoring record by a mile. Yes it's way worse than LVGs....

Out of league cup and CL.
The list goes on and on.

So you're talking about this season so far. I was wondering as it didn't make much sense.

I'm not defending the performance this year but overall we haven't lost more games than we've won under Ten Hag so you're cherry picking.

That was just a dismal performance. Zero threat, or even any urgency once we went a goal down. Fairly sure if we let them play for the rest of the day we still wouldn't have threatened the goal.

Only bright points out of today was Shaw and seeing Willy get a debut

After the first game against Wolves I really thought we had moved on from cowardly goalkeepers. After years of watching De Gea cowering like a rabbit in the headlights I was delighted to see Onana coming off his line and ploughing into a player, even though it should have been a penalty.

I thought we had a big brave commanding goalkeeper in the mould of Schmeichel but he has been so timid since. He’s an experienced international goalkeeper who played in the champions league final last year, he needs to improve immediately or else this isn’t the club for him.

I didn't edit it because it wasn't true, I edited it because despite the existence on the Caf of people like ye, I somehow remain drawn to this place. But don't get it confused, you and you specifically are that in every sense of the word. And an obsessed one at that. Because didn't you say you put me on ignore a few months ago? Let me help you with that. In the meantime, jog on to the newbie forum and focus on what Niall asked you to do.
Thanks. Like i said, I take it like a badge of honor from a dispicable human being like yourself. Jog on yourself with your bs. If you only knew how dispised you are around here, oh yes, I read alot of stuff about you, you would wind your neck in and stop making a fool out of yourself everytime.

    Pedestrian. Lazy. Unexciting.

Nobody in the United team actually looks like they enjoy playing football.

I hate that I support this club. This is torture of the highest order watching this dross every week.

Still, these guys will go home with their fat pay check, do a few head and shoulders ads and just repeat the same shit over and over with no consequence.

Can’t wait to read the same copy and pasted posts on social media saying that they need to ‘bounce back’ or ‘focus on the next game’. Actually get to feck.

Spot on. Sick of this "team"

Looking through our upcoming fixtures and I cannot see where our next goal is coming from let alone our next point(s)

it is astonishing to think that he is the only world class player in the XI today:
awb is England 5th choice RB
    Evans is waiting for retirement
    Kambwala is a kid
Shaw - 1st choice English LB when fit

McTominay - we all know he is a mid table player
Bruno - not really world class - "chance creating" one trick pony, can't shield the ball, can't carry the ball, can't dribble, can't dictate tempo and poor decision making
    Mainoo - just a kid

Antony - one foot pony who can't cross and score
Hojlund - a kid who will probably end up no more than 3 league goals this season even if we start him every game
    Garnacho - another kid

we are legitimately a mid table team now.

Thought Mainoo was ok really and doesn't play like just a kid.

Irwin was closer to 3 decades back.

I think he might - Shaw is fantastic on his day. Irwin was a great FB in his own right but Shaw is a rolls Royce of a player. I don’t think Irwin could drop into CB like shaw can.

No disrespect to Irwin btw - I loved watching him play.

Rashford is a lazy twat even then he still had a shot at goal in half the minutes Hojlund did. Movement though means dropping deep to link play, runs into channels out wide rotating with the wide player. Nothing to do with Kane just everything to do with being a striker. Have a look at where Bowen picked up the ball in todays game
The one that was miles over from about 25 yards?
Do you know what happened when he did do that sort of thing today? We ignored his run, made a few passes and lost the ball because that is what we do.

Hasn’t Murtough been replaced by David Brailsford?
No. Not at all. INEOS haven’t even taken office yet.

Brailsford will he like a consultant type gig anyway where he’ll go and source the people for the job.

If anyone is replacing Murtough it’s Dan Ashworth AND Paul Mitchell.

It's not cherry picking. It's not like we are only a few weeks into this season.

We've lost more games than we won nearly half way through the season.

Most losses ath this stage since something like the 1930s I think TNT said.

So it's not like our other managers we sacked where doing this....

Ignoring it or pretending it's cherry picking to create a narrative or something doesn't make sense.

Losing more games than you win half way through the season is unbelievably bad. None of our other managers would have been tolerated doing that is all.

Completely toothless against a rubbish West Ham team.
Dominated possession but carried no goal threat, apart from Garnacho’s fluffed chances in the first half.
Our dire goals scoring stats in the league are just above relegation territory.

With our current form, I can see us losing against Villa, while others around us will move ahead in the league places.
    Mid table by New Year.

    No blame on young Mainoo.
He was tiring and our midfield was losing grip at the time he made his error.

He plays like he’s got a modelling job the next day.

Yes was a poor shot. Point is he dropped to pick the ball up in space. He also picked it up out wide. Bowen also the same. Hojlund when he was played the ball back go goal kept losing the ball, didnt run the channels, and he was late and on his back foot when the ball went into the box

Good performance. A lot to be proud of.

Just needed West Ham not to score those two goals and then we would have just needed one goal to win.

    Good progress

Same and I don't know why I even have a soft spot for Moyes he did everything wrong and was dreadful for us  but i do root for him

As dreadful as he was no one since SAF has been as bad as this season. Truly abysmal. Ten Hag needs to go.

He wasn't on his back foot, he made a far post run. Turned out to be the wrong run but not because he was late.
Did you expect Antony to make that cross?

I did say not getting Martinez from Villa would cost us... do we not have a goalkeeping scout? so fecking obvious this guy is not good enough and SAF make some major blunders in this area too

An odd take away from this game. Onana made some good saves today, a reasonable performance and did well to save the initial shot from Bowen. He was unfortunate it’s deflected back of Bowen into the net. Not at fault for their second either

Yes I did and he was on his back foot same as when Dalot played a few balls in previous games and Rashford. Its not a one off

You're saying he's the worst modern manager statistically when it's just not true.

Now if you're saying it's the worst first half of a season for any manager for x number years then fair enough but, I get it it, doesn't sound the same.

With the way things are spiraling downwards, we may need the ESL to bail us out of this footballing shit, even more than Barca in the near future.

Yes I did and he was on his back foot same as when Dalot played a few balls in previous games and Rashford. Its not a one off
You expected Antony to cross with his right foot?
Weirdest lie I've seen this year.

Just a really bad team. I'm beginning to think that some of the young players that I thought had a bit of quality like Garnacho and Hojlund are vastly overrated. Might be a harsh assessment in the heat of the moment, but they were septic today.

Those youngsters need to be with quality players who will nuture them, not in with this shower. Good coaching would help as well.

Absolutely not. Mainoo will learn from this. But we have been dreadful. There is no heart in this team. None. You want to keep telling yourself that these players are playing for the manager, then that's up to you.

The players have nothing, nothing about them. Shocking. Absolutely shocking.

Where did I say that the players are playing for the manager? It's blindingly obvious that they're not.

Mainoo made a terrible mistake today. But I see him as our most talented young player. More talented than Garnacho, Højlund or anyone else.

You expected Antony to cross with his right foot?
Weirdest lie I've seen this year.
Given hes done the same thing a few times this season in that exact scenario yes
