No, judge him by his second season where he had more of players for his preferred style, that makes it better, and common sense.
Not this bollocks again. He spent £230m in the summer and we still can't win. He doesn't get a free ride until we spend another £750m and he gets all his 'own players'. He has to start winning with these players and show he's got what it takes to deserve the time to get more of his own players.

He did make that one shitty mistake, but entire team has been garbage all of first half. De Gea's mistake is no excuse for how shitty the setup and the team have been.
No it's not, but West Ham have been shite themselves. It's a nothing game. But the point is, if your keeper throws it into his own net it completely turns the game. They have confidence, something to hang onto, and we're in the shit when we shouldn't be. You can't have that. So of course it's largely DeGea's fault.

You couldn't write this script better if you were a dipper fan. From 12 points behind they will pip us to 4th place on the final day of the season
Win the next 3 games. The last game will be a warm up for the cup final!

We are massivly bottling this season. At least won a cup when we had form and we will ge Europa league football at least.

Hope we step up and win this game.

If I can give Ole two years I can give ETH three but he’s not shown much in last 3 months
I'm ok with ETH critics but that's what Glazers did to this club and thursday fecking football. 57th game of the season and we have no depth and quality in the squad.

Arm was not in an unusual position so no penalty
That's the only defence I can consider, and it all happened quite quickly. Slow mo makes it look worse. But honestly, if it was the other way around and it didn't get given I'd be in the VAR thread going mad. Pen for me.

We were in control of snoozing to a 0-0 draw. Now Moments FC has to show up if we are going to rescue a point.
If you think we were in control and everything was fine until that goal, then we must be watching different games.

We were in total control, only not ahead because now that Rashford is human again nobody on the team can finish. Without DDG's howler, the crowd would have stayed quiet and West Ham wouldn't have had the extra energy they got from scoring.

It's an awful mistake, from a goalkeeper who hasn't been playing well enough for us for a while now.

We're playing against a well organized defensive team, away from home, creating half chances, getting some shots away-and then our keeper does that. It plays right into the opponent's hands. It gives them something to defend and allows them to counter all game, which we are susceptible to as our players are tired already.

As a manager how do you account for that? As players how do you pick yourselves up knowing that one of your teammates has just ruined all your efforts by pure lack of focus? It was a nothing shot. No power at all. It's ridiculous. DDG could get punched at half time and I'd say it's justified.

I don't even know what to change. The midfield is too tired to press. The passing from deep is inaccurate. Can't keep a shot on target. Bring Martial on I guess. Can Garnacho even play 45 mins? I'm just deflated at the way we're losing. Just gifted a goal in such a crucial point in the season. While we have to work so hard not to feck up a pass in front of a 10 man wall just to get a shot in. Pathetic.

I can imagine Klopp watching at home and Gurning and screaming at that penalty not being given

It is his fault for ruining whatever chances we may have had to win with a single goal. If we cannot score, we need to be good at the back and we cannot with a keeper who cannot come collect on crosses, has no ability to pass, keeps giving the ball away and add random blunders, it is his fault.
Your post would make sense...if we were Everton.

We are bottling this aren't we?

DDG today and Shaw last game, sabotage?

I don't think De Gea would actually sabotage the team, but he has to know 100% that he is gone next season if EtH is still here. If EtH is sacked there's a good chance the club exercises the option for a last season on $300k a week wages or whatever insane number it is.

I think it's more likely that De Gea is just not very good anymore. I don't know why the idea is so offensive to a lot of people, players get worse all the time.

Do these players realise they are behind?
No energy to try and get the equaliser ,Weghorst has to come off now, he continues to offer nothing.
That is what shocks me. There is no fire. No passion. We are playing like we are feeling sorry for ourselves and want to be somewhere else. Too many players looking busy but actually hiding.

I have seen this movie many times, they will score a jammy early second half goal and we will huff and puff for the remaining 45 mins to no avail.

Happened to dare mention during Leicester Everton game I thought Pickford would be a much better alternative. The DDG lovers on here weren’t buying it and made their feelings known in no uncertain terms. Oh well, shrugs..
Want to replace DDG, its just that Pickford has the aura of a smug c*nt. Don’t think i’d like him, even if he was our smug cu*t.

If THAT 45 mins doesn’t prove that our two key summer ‘big’ signings are GK and CF, nothing will.

Cant see us winning this one. West Ham will get a second goal early second half and that will be it.

If I was ETH Id gamble on Garnacho,Sabitzer and Sancho.

Lindelof is trying to move his arm away from the ball and move his head down to head it. It happens very fast and he misjudges it. Looks dodgy and could definitely see it given, but wouldn't say it's stonewall
Yep. It's heading straight for where his arm is across his body and he tries to move it out of the way. No pen.

I question what he says at half time as we never come out looking motivated...

Fergie inspired Medicare players through passion and rage, but I reckon this squad would buckle under SAF too

I feel a bit sad for De Gea. Yes he made a howler but no one is talking about how bad our defending was. Four of our defenders can’t get the ball off an average player. Luke Shaw playing an horrible pass across the goal when he can clearly see Benrahma running in.

pile on de Gea all you want but we have to talk about our defenders as well. It’s sad to see Ferdinand not talking once about the defenders.

Think we need Garnacho on. Someone with a bit of life in them.
And you're not a world class football manager but it does seem to be very obvious.

I don't think we will get any changes at half time.

We were fairly in control of the game before De Gea screwed that save up. The ultimate point is that the ONLY defence offered for his continued presence in the side is that he is a "brilliant shot stopper". If he is going to fail to stop shots as tame as that then he is completely useless to us.

It’s not even like it’s a one off.. he’s got previous for this kind of stuff remember? Everyone wanted to replace him with Henderson when he went on that run of costing us points on his own, which ultimately ended up with us missing top four,
It genuinely baffles me that we keep trying to give him more money, he can’t even get a game for his national team because he made so many blunders for them too!
    times time.

Shades of 2019 run in collapse, look bereft of confidence and as Jenas our passing is too ponderous.

Can see us dominating the ball in this 2nd halve and conceding by getting countered.
