. I thought you were not going to watch the match live?

I got a text saying I'm in work at 11 rather than 9.30 like usual. The game is rarely uploaded before 8 so I wouldn't have had time to watch it before work, with the commute and what not it would be cutting it fine and risking seeing the score...

So this way: 11-2 + 5-9.30 = plenty of sleep.... Hopefully. I hiked 20k through around the blue mountains yesterday so I'm chuffing knackered already :nervous:

Smalling's just coming back from injury though right? LVG always takes his time putting players back in after injury. :nono:
Perhaps, but he looked fine to me against Cambridge. Hopefully, we will see them together next week.

Don't like Rooney playing in midfield. The rest of the lineup seems decent, harsh on Mata though.

    Also, please don't be 3-5-fecking-2.

Fellaini was our stand-out midfielder last year, with the two goals coming from striker Rooney. LVG doesn't care though. No Fellaini and Rooney out of position. LVG is just too stubborn. It will bite him on the bum soon enuf.

Just be happy we've finally seen the back of 532. Slowly slowly...

No chance that's 532. Would mean the 2 cms are Rooney and Di Maria.

Which then makes it weird that he's playing ahead of Mata.

I really don't get LVG

We have a midweek match. Herrera and mata in for januzaj and... someone? Falcao probably. Smalling in for jones. Evans in for rojo... keeps players fresh.

True, though that was against much lower quality opposition. Hard to tell really :/

Not sure how RVP keeps getting picked, would rather rooney play striker then bench RVP, move diMaria back to CM then mata at 10

Disappointed not to see Herrera in the line up again and I would have liked to have seen the Smalling Rojo partnership that did so well be given another run of games but apart from that its a good line up and im confident of a narrow win.

So would I but then again RVP is fairly lethal. Just getting abit too old now.

That's not too bad, provided you can sleep straight after the game anyway. Hopefully it'll be worth the ridiculous sleep schedule anyway!

With West Ham being good at home and us struggeling on the road I think 2 or 3-1 to them.

This is Januzaj's chance, let's hope he takes it. Midfield is a bit light with Rooney in it but otherwise, very attacking and solid. Hope it pays off and LVG starts to attack teams

Honestly, where do you guys get your inside info from?

How many predictions have you made in total? I mean.. I have 258 points from 27 predictions, so average 9.5 points per game. I could've sworn that I'd only missed one match, so that makes 28 games, which would mean you'd have a 10.4 average, and izec would have 10.8. Did I miss more than one or something? :nervous:

Steve Bates has been leaking the team on twitter a few times. Plus van Gaal's cryptical pressers also gives it away sometimes.

Surely we can watch build up rather than this crappy game.

We are a team good and talented enough to impose our game on West Ham, I mean, West Ham should worry about us, not the other way round.

I thought they were only an hour or so before the game (i.e. after predictions close)? Unfair advantage if true :p

I guess Blind Rooney and ADM in midfield and Adnan #10?

Is this how we'll line up?

    -------------- DDG ----------
    Valencia - Jones - Rojo - Shaw
    ------------- Blind -----------
    ------ Januzaj - Rooney -----
    ----------- Di Maria ---------
    -------- Falcao - RVP -------

I've never looked at Steve Bates' twitter. I usually submit my lineup the night before. Once or twice I've done poor, with 6/11 or 8/11 but other times are 9-11. I just make sure that I don't miss a single game which helps, or I'd be plummeting down the rankings.

    Yes!

Stoke equalize against the barcodes - I can't stand that fecker Pardew

I must just suck then, I'd only climb to 28th/29th if I had managed my average 9-10 points for the game I missed :D
