Sarcasm? Neither of them deserve slagging off really.
Matic has been appalling this season. Slow, cumbersome, brings down the quickness of our play. He's infuriating to watch.

No, Mctominay is just a player who is bang average. Playing in midfield without decent passing ability or ball control. I don't understand what Jose sees in that guyMcTominay is so harshly treated on here. Which would be more understandable, if it weren't for the fact Pereira is lauded for similarly ineffective bit part performances.
Agreed. He played well against Chelsea and Liverpool last season.Don’t get the McTominay hate at all. Been solid whenever I’ve seen him.
That is his obvious weekness and if he still does not understand what it takes to play under Mou in that attacking role, well then he can only blame himself. Not that he ever will, but still.Martial needs to put the effort in. Say what you want about Sanchez, but he always gives his all. The same can't be said of Martial. Last game was good though, let's hope he continues with the same mindset.
Now that's a fib.If he were 6 inches shorter but identical in every other way, people would love him.
its a 12.45 kick off buddy.
12:30. Not trying to be a dick but at least now you won’t miss the first 15!its a 12.45 kick off buddy.
Too tall.Don’t get the McTominay hate at all. Been solid whenever I’ve seen him.
Yes, that's the reason.Yeah that's the reason. Not his underwhelming performances.

Yes Pogba probably wants a slightly more attacking role himself, but more than that he wants the team as a whole to attack more so he can actually find runners. This line-up is likely the opposite of what he wants.
Why compared them then..?I never said he was...
Good to see Martial starting anyway.
Think he's being saved for the game against Valencia.
He’s not rubbish, but he’s definitely not as great as some people make him out to be.Hes just a decent squad player who can fill in for a game or 2,but he’s too limited as a player to consistently play in a Man United midfield...He's rubbish. Have thought so even when watching him for the U23s.
Not just this seasonMatic has been appalling this season. Slow, cumbersome, brings down the quickness of our play. He's infuriating to watch.
Jose has heaped praise on the kid multiple times. So McTominay gets the hate for being Jose's boy.Don’t get the McTominay hate at all. Been solid whenever I’ve seen him.
You don't need quickness in that position.Matic has been appalling this season. Slow, cumbersome, brings down the quickness of our play. He's infuriating to watch.
Yeah it’s called his left footValencia being saved to play against Valencia....there has to be a joke in there, somewhere.
And yet. Here you are.Sometimes you forget how much of a cesspool this place is but then there's a matchday thread and then you remember.
Isn't he just going with the most senior player?Line up doesn’t fill me with confidence anyway, never mind recent events.
Big Ashley Young with the armband now? Christ.
No it's not. McTominay is the anti-Guardiola. And Guardiola is God on this board. Now that's a fib.
I don't think he's even a decent squad player. I rated Cleverley a lot higher than him and he's barely good enough to be a squad player for Everton and Watford nevermind us.He’s not rubbish, but he’s definitely not as great as some people make him out to be.Hes just a decent squad player who can fill in for a game or 2,but he’s too limited as a player to consistently play in a Man United midfield...

8. Had Martial in but changed him at the last minute for Sanchez. Also though Dalot might start, didn't see McTominay starting though, doubt many did.
Our midfield:
6'4"
6'4"
6'4"
6'3"
It has to go down in history as the tallest midfield of all time, surely? Although either McTominay or Fellaini are likely playing in the defence to be fair (which has another 6'4" player itself in Smalling). Then Lukaku up front who is 6'2". Perhaps the tallest team line-up of all time?
Why would you pick Martial ahead of Rashford?Rashford won’t play on Wednesday night,so why not play him alongside Lukaku?I really don’t know why...Brave from Mourinho to put 2 members of a mutiny group in there.
that was my Aussie time zone kicking in
Political move by Mourinho. Why would you pick Martial ahead of Rashford?Rashford won’t play on Wednesday night,so why not play him alongside Lukaku?I really don’t know why...
