To be honest, it is a very one dimensional and defence minded midfield three, but I can only imagine that will provide a foil for the front three and full backs to attack.
If we were winning every week, he would. I’d be more concerned if he wasn’t chopping and changing considering the absolute shit show that certain players are putting in.That should easily be the tallest midfield in the world. Would however rather have Fred instead of McTominay since we already have two (or even three with Pogba) tall defensive midfielders.

Pleased to see Sanchez dropped as well. In a formation like this Dalot would have been great to create the width, but young should be okay. Can’t be less useful than Valencia.

Martial needs to put the effort in. Say what you want about Sanchez, but he always gives his all. The same can't be said of Martial.
