The FA should make West Ham start the season behind closed doors next season. Will be a good start with their brand new stadium and all.
Feck yeah. Absolute morons. I hope this riles the players up to perform.

How are we being blamed for this, what a fecking farce. Maybe the Jews should have stayed out of Germany in 1940 if they didn't want to get gassed. I'm absolutely livid at the apologists for this disgrace from West Ham, they should be docked points for this.

    Too far.

Sullivan: "There was congestion in the street and they couldn't get the coach in. There were people around the coach, but there was no attack on the coach.

"If you check the coach there won't be any damage to it. If we arrived late at Old Trafford they wouldn't put the kick-off back."

    Utter cnut.

Should be made to apologize and West Ham foot the bill for repairing the bus.

Sky's coverage of this is so over the top. Bigger and more successful clubs have left stadiums before, the only reason I can think there making this big of a deal is that it's Man United in town.

There'd hardly have been a mention if it was Swansea like it should have been

Earlier? Why the feck does it matter when the team arrives? Especially after travelling from the Manchester to bloody London.
Teddy Sheringham just said the fans have been there all day so it would matter what time we got there anyway.

Did he really say that ?
from the BBC match thread

    COTTERILL REPORTS FROM THE BOLEYN

Sky Sports News HQ's Gary Cotterill has been around the ground checking out the damage to the Manchester United team bus...

He reports that nine windows were smashed, all on the driver's side, including the driver's window.

We probably would have beaten all the hooligans to the stadium if we made to arrive at 4PM to be fair.

Good team. I'm happy with that.

This kickoff time though... :( That's very frustrating ffs. Stupid scumbag West Ham fans.

Just look at last few pages. Plenty of pics and videos of our coach being smashed up by West Ham fans. Our club secretary requested that we get our usual preparation time and they agreed so kick-off has been pushed back.

David Sullivan (West Ham owner) blames us completely and says if people look at the coach they'll see no damage.
Cheers, what a strange situation. West Ham owner seems to be a complete cnut too.

When I red our coach was smashed up, I tought the west ham fans had attacked LVG but it is only the bus.

I hate it when language has 1 word for multiple concepts...

Sky Sports saying 9 windows were smashed.

Joe Wilson of the BBC blaming and United and saying "attack is an exaggeration"

"I am about 100 yards from the main entrance to the ground, what makes this evening unusual is the sheer number of supporters outside the ground.. The key thing is many want to be here to be part of the atmosphere.

"Right outside the ground was the Manchester United coach and it was stuck, it wasn't going anywhere. There were about 10 police vans in front of it and it was surrounded by a sea of fans. I didn't see any bottles being thrown then, I watched for a couple of minutes, but I have seen videos on social media of a couple of bottles being thrown.

"Most fans standing around were gesturing and singing, to say the bus was being attacked I think is something of an exaggeration."

Not winning this will be unbearable. Champions League will be gone and all those Eastenders extras will act like they've won the Champions League.

So let me get this straight.. the West Ham owner is denying damage and blaming us for anything and everything that happened? I mean I thought I saw a video of Wayne Rooney jumping off the bus to smash a window out... what an idiot. People like this have shite for their brains.

I hope our players aren't intimidated by this. I'll be so disappointed if we don't show up now.

We barely showed up over the weekend and there was nothing to intimidate us then.

Could we win the game by walk-over or something similar if the hammers fans invade the pitch before full time?
