That game only counts if Arsenal somehow draws or beats City tomorrow.
Not really. If we beat West Ham and City beat Arsenal we could go into the last game knowing a win against Bournemouth and a City draw against a Swansea team well in form will see us in there.

Win and spoil there big night!

I do not want to go to the last game needing them to lose or draw. Brings back memories of 2012. They'd go fecking mental if it came down to that. So would I.

Have we won 3 in a row this season?

West Ham and Bournemouth. That's all that stands between us and 4th, unless City can beat both Arsenal and in-form Swansea. We simply must win.

Tough tough game but will.be easier if we can field

Are Swansea really in form? I know they've had one or two good results but they were hammered by Leicester a couple of weeks ago and convincingly beaten by Newcastle before that.

Beating Liverpool and West Ham in the space of a week whilst scoring 7 in the process constitutes form to me, anyway.

If our players can't motivate themselves for this, then we don't deserve the CL. Even if City win today, a draw against Swansea and two wins for us will give us top 4.

Keep Payet quiet and we'll be fine.

    De Gea
    Valencia Smalling Blind Rojo
    Carrick
    Lingard Herrera Rooney Martial
    Rashford

If Martial isn't back, then Mata in for Martial, with Lingard going to the left. If it was up to me; however, I'd put Januzaj in. He hasn't had much football this season, but he's the type of player who could strive in this system.

Win this and we are top 4 i think. Always hope we win but these days I am getting a bit worried that Van Gaal will actually stay if we get 4th so I feel very conflicted. Will be tough though.

Can see a draw and a bye bye to CL football next season too. If that means no LvG next season, then I won't feel that bad.

I don't really buy West Ham being motivated with this being their last home game in the Boleyn Ground. I don't think modern players care about that sort of sentimentality. They do care about playing in the Champions league though, so hopefully that motivates our players.

Mata for Martial if not fit. Hope Rojo is nowhere near the starting eleven.

I still remember our game against them at Upton Park when Cole couldn't hit a barn door and Blackburn won the league despite the scousers doing us a favour and beating them. Second worst title loss we've suffered IMO.

Let's see what this team is made of now. Three very winnable games to end this season on a high.

I think we are on mini roll,LVG tactically good on this one game situations and i'm expecting us to win 1-2.

If you gave me wins at Upton Park and at home to Bournemouth in exchange for losing in the FA Cup, I'd snap your hand off.

What a huge, huge game. I really hope LVG and the players deliver, though I won't get my hopes up.

    Hopefully Martial is fit!

Certainly, for what's at stake, the biggest game LVG is going to be in charge of so far at United. So come on LVG...all that arrogance, all that self belief, all that bravado....make it bloody work.

This game is more important than the FA Cup final, imo. It could have repercussions for years to come.

What a game this is going to be. We need good performances all around the pitch especially from De Gea, Smalling, Blind, Mata, Martial and Rashford.

No excuses for not giving it all for anyone.

I strongly believe we will win a hard fought battle against a tiring team in West Ham. We have the momentum and the players brimming with confidence, all eager to impress before our cup final with Palace. The hammers look shot and it being their last ever game there will add to their fatigue. It will be emotionally draining for them.

Do we play Martial and risk losing him for the next two games? Not sure how strained that hamstring is.

Is securing champions league football more important then winning the FA Cup? Obtaining both would be great but could mean we have to endure another season under tedious Louis. If I had to pick, I would sacrifice the cup to finish above City. There is no assurances that Van Gaal will continue to put faith in youth next year (only reason I like him) the purist in me would love to see Giggs step up but logically Jose is too good to turn down and I'm sure if he stuck about for several seasons the trophy cabinet would be adorned with further honors.

I first started supporting the club by chance back in 1990. Was not really interested in the game. I chose United on that day and stuck with them ever since. I'm hoping this will kick start us again like then. Great omen.

feck these lineups with Lingard in it. Just wtf has he done to deserve this undroppable status anyway?

We need to win and in spite of LVG's preference, that means we need to score. Lingard shouldn't even be in the squad at this point, let alone a starter.

    Hopefully Martial is fit!

If he is, it shows he's a smart lad, recognising that it was at risk of going, and leaving him out for the rest of the season.
It's the manager's fault that he's left us so weak up front that a 20year old striker missing a game could have been such a disaster

Mentally we have the upper hand. More then a big chance we finish above them. Knocked them out of the FA CUP too.

Early goal should silence their fans. Rooney and Herrera getting stuck into some meaty tackles. Keep local boy Noble quiet out there. It is one game where we shall miss the big-haired one!

2.1 to us. Rooney and Rashford.

Whenever we have a must win game, we feck it up. It's in the character of the set of players that we have assembled. I hope for once they keep their collective bottle at a bouncing Upton Park on Tuesday. I'm going for a draw in this one. 0-0.
