So much balance with Rojo left of a 3.
Add in Bailly on the other side who played RB himself flanking a ball playing centrehalf and we are sorted.
    edit for stupidity

The team news is in! Here's your #MUFC XI to take on Watford... #WATMUN

    7:00 PM - Nov 28, 2017

    Martial starts AGAIN.

I hope all those who were convinced Jose doesn't like Martial just because he was not starting, are counting.

    It'll be

    DDG
    Lindelof - Smalling - Rojo
    Valencia - - - - - - - - - Young
    Pogba - Matic
    Lingard
    Lukaku - Martial

    I'd imagine

So weird, I completely missed Valencia's name in the 11 on the main page!? Just went back to look again and he's second on the bloody list.

    Tonight's team:

    ----------------De Gea

    -------Lindelof---Smalling---Rojo

    Valencia----------------------------Young
    -------------Pogba----Matic

    -----Lingard------------------Marital

    ----------------Lukaku

Big trouble for us tonight. Watford are in form, we are teetering on the edge of a collapse. I fully expect us to lose tonight.

I think Watford will control midfield unless Pogba is super disciplined. I can't see him sitting with Matic who could end up covering too wide a space in front of the back 3.
Let's hope I'm wrong, to be fair I usually am.

Not good looking at the starting lineup, hope Lingard and Lindelof have a good go, and Lukaku won't be that Isolated.

Hate to be that girl but I can't see us getting away with three points.

I think Lingard plays on the right and Martial left of a 3-4-3. Jose would want to match their formation man to man especially on the wings.
Yes, Lingard would be good to track their left wingback back a little bit before passing him onto Valencia.

 collapse, go have a word with yourself.

Anyone else concerned that this game is going to be more difficult that the arsenal one at the weekend?

The next three matches are a real test of our ambitions for the season. Is 5 points from the next three a good return?

Not for a team with Title aspirations.
For a side looking to get top 6 that amount of points would be grand

So Jose is starting to trust Lindelöf enough to go 3-4-3 and play him in a difficult away game. Interesting.

Not hyped about Lingard starting, but I guess we don't have a better option right now with Rashford having picked up a knock and Mkhi being completely out of form.
I was under the impression he trusted Lindelöf more with 3 at the back. True that if Lindelöf doesn't ruin the game for us tonight with a slip after a step over from Richarlison, he might still have a career here.

Looks a relatively solid line-up.. going to be tough game. Big test of our credentials

I don't know why anybody is debating it. That's what I thought when I saw the team.

Is this the same Watford who have lost 3 of their last 6 games?

Yes, but no need to put Valencia and Young so back in the pitch, they'll quite in front.

Robbie Earle is a disgrace to punditry. The amount of shit he spews concerning United is ridiculous. I don’t watch NBC pre-game build-up because of him.
I like Robbie Mustoe, level headed and genuinely excited about the game. He also has perspective which is nice in a pundit.

 collapse, go have a word with yourself.
As long as I have been a united fan I have always felt that our season is about to implode. In recent years I have been more right than wrong.

On a serious note, is just me that finds that always changing formation to mimic the opposition formation might be counter productive. I feel we are better off mastering a system rather than being a jack of all trades.
Sure, let's keep the 4-2-3-1 with three forwards that worked so well for us in our last game.

For the sake of all we 'The-Premier-League-is-the-most-competitive-league-in -the-world' fans, United had better not lose this. City cannot be allowed to go 11 points ahead of the pack.

is tonight the night Lukaku tears a team a new one.... I hope so... Come on Rom

We really need a couple from him tonight. Despite all the pant shitting in here tonight I think we will win by a two goal margin, I have to. Otherwise we will be watching the gap below us instead of above us.
