bloody hell that looks a really weak lineup.

I can only imagine we'll nicely qualify!

Watch 2 month old presser, hear that Carrick is injured, swap him out of my lineup for fellaini, get the starting 11 right for the first time in my life.

What a shocking decision it was to sell Rafael.

Was it? He'd be injured going on previous, just because Darmain hasn't pulled up trees and Valencia has been injured doesn't mean selling Rafael was wrong. He was deadwood and needed moving on unfortunately!

Quite positive lineup, wasn't expecting this to be fair.

    Lets hope for the best.

Statistically there's a good chance of us qualifying.

It's the fact that we looked completely and utterly devoid of ideas in attack for a long time now. We're nervous because we're pretty much having to rely on the results of another game since getting a win here will be very difficult.

To be fair I know little about Wolfsburg

Not sure, how do you expect PSV to not win against CSKA? A team that we failed to defeat twice?

PSV have won both home games. I give CSKA little chance of even getting a draw. :(

That is a fair point but nothing is guaranteed in football.

The concern isn't really about qualification, it's the fact we're heading into the busiest stage of the season with bags full of under 21 players holding our squad together. We also lack the type of player who will score the goals needed to be the difference.

If rumours are correct we could be lining up in Greece without Ramsey or Ozil. United don't need to score 2 or 3 goals. That back 5 of yours has been great this season. I honestly believe that if Martial/Mata/whoever can score a goal before half time then that will be the end of it.

Worried because we lack any curtting edge and we simply have not looked good enough recently to think we can go to Germany and win

Loads of injuries and the fact you would expect psv to win makes us not the favourites

I would prefer to be in arsenals shoes.

Although I do still think we can do it

I wouldn't want to be in our (Arsenal's) shoes, Olympiakos rarely lose at home. So much can go wrong. Even if we go two up, Olympiakos could score a last minute goal and that would be the end of it. Its very likely that we'll need 3 goals on the night to go through, a draw here could be enough.

Am I the only one that actually likes that lineup? I can see another 4-2-2-2 maybe, or even if it stays 4-2-3-1 the front line looks fluid and exciting, and Fellaini arriving late into the box as well as attacking corners is far from terrible. Plus it has the added bonus of meaning that our attacking sub on 60min WON'T be Fellaini

They're showing highlights on BT Sport from the last time we played Wolfsburg with Owen scoring a hattrick. Seeing Nani and Obertan beat fullbacks and whip balls into the penalty area. Scholes with his quick passing and strikers making themselves available to receive the ball.

    Good times :(

feck me that's scraping the barrel isn't it? Nostalgia ain't what it used to be.

Its a 4-2-2-2, the same was played against watford, until herrera was injured. You will see lots of flexibility in our attack and lots of fluidity. I like the line up, only if herrera and schniederlin started i would be so much more confident.

Looks like TSN has fecked the schedule here in Canada and so the game isn't being shown live. (Only the most important game of the week and of United's season, no worries guys!). Will have to river this one. Oh well.

"I don't think David De Gea can score".

Great man management from LVG again. Really knows how to knock a players confidence.

Just reading other stuff, and the press are so looking forward to us losing...an English team:( They really are pathetic.

Was it? He'd be injured going on previous, just because Darmain hasn't pulled up trees and Valencia has been injured doesn't mean selling Rafael was wrong. He was deadwood and needed moving on unfortunately!

Selling Rafael was boneheaded, though it has nothing to do with tonight's match. Darmian has indeed left trees in their place but he'll improve over time.

What did he say, can't hear it on the phone while kids are screaming around me.

"How can you leave your only champions league winner on the bench?"

Forgetting that we have 2 champs league winners on the bench, and three starting. Classic BT Sport punditrt

Went for 0-0. Can see us maybe nicking it 1-0, but our results lately indicate a possible 0-0 and Wolfsburg will surely be content with such a scoreline.
