Man, what a position to be in for this game. Lose, and we're guaranteed to be at least 9th and we could be as low 11th. Win and we probably keep our manager for an even longer spell. Draw, and we probably fall a few places and keep the manager. Grim stuff.

For what its worth I think Spurs are shite and we'll beat them 3-1 and we'll have Ole til at least Christmas, unless City truly rout us the following week. Talk about pyrrhic.

    I'd like to see

    De Gea
    Bissaka - Bailly - Lindelof - Telles
    McTominay - Matic - VDB
    Greenwood/Rashford - Cavani - CR7

    But I expect

    De Gea
    Bissaka - Lindelof - Maguire - Shaw
    McTominay - Fred
    Greenwood - Bruno - Rashford
    CR7

While I will never hope for a United loss, are we actually better off with a win if that means another false dawn that buys Ole another few months in charge?

Spurs are fairly bad tbh. I had this down as a win prior to the Liverpool debacle. I fancy it to be a horribly negative game from both sides, with the emphasis being on not losing. So, an uninspiring draw it is.

Surely the board aren’t that reactionary though? The only way Ole seems to be kept on is that they are taking time finding the replacement. As opposed to them just waiting to test the possibility we magically look like a solid, well-coached and drilled outfit against Spurs.

I hope we win but in a manner that means Ole is let go.

He shouldn't still be here so we can't keep him even if he wins a few

I hope not. But surely the right thing would be to get rid and get an interim until a permanent replacement has been found. No need to keep him around just for the sake of it. He's clearly lost the dressing room.

I can't see us winning this at the moment.

Maguire V Kane could be be fun to watch. Both in horrible form.

I don’t think we’ll lose, but this might be the game where the lineup is changed. I legit think VdB will start, out of position, and Cavani. Surely he cannot play the same lineup again.

    DDG
    AWB
    Lindelof
    Maguire
    Shaw
    Matic
    VdB
    Bruno
    Rashford
    Sancho
    Cavani

Grant; Jones, Bailly, McKenna; Lingard, Carrick, Mata, van de Beek; Elanga, Solskjaer, Shoretire

    8-0 Man Utd win.

If we loose by three goals or more, he's getting the sack immediately.

If Ole is in charge for this one*

Any victory over Spurs, no matter the manner in which it was achieved, will grant Ole at least another month in charge. It's a nightmare situation for the players and the fans.

We need to go back to basics and make ourselves difficult to play against. Forget this seesawing between McFred and Pogba +1 in a double pivot, we need to play 3 in there. One to play in front of the back 4 and shield them and the other two to be combative and move the ball through the thirds.

    ———Fred————VDB
    ——————Matic
    Shaw—Maguire—Lindelof—-AWB

Back 4 stays the same unless Varane available but Maguire and Shaw need a rocket up the arse after that Liverpool game.

That leaves just 3 attacking positions for about 9 players but I just think this is the way we have to go for the foreseeable future. We need that solid base to build from and with the quality of options we have up top we always have a chance of scoring. We can rotate the front 3 players if we start to build some confidence back but we need that consistency in shape in defence and midfield.

Ole needs to be ruthless with them and drop anyone not performing as required, regardless of who their name is.

I would go with Ronaldo, Rashford and Bruno for this one but he honestly shouldn’t be afraid to drop anybody at this point.

By the end of Moyes, LvG, Jose I was absolutely numbed to the poor results.

Not that i wished defeat like weirdos do, but I expected it and it didn't affect me when it inevitably happened.

Not the case with Ole. I'm absolutely desperate to see a good performance and emphatic win. Still agree we will need a new manager sooner rather than later, but I at least want the man to go out with his head high.

If Ole leads the team , i think we will lose.
He`s lost the dressing room and our defence is a shambles.
    Kane and Son will thrive

The team will definitely react and Spurs will defend under pressure and lose. Ole will get the sack after the City game because their midfield will run circles around ours.

Don't think I'll be watching. I like to enjoy my weekends.

Tighten that ship up, by hook or by crook. I don't care if we have to put on 10 defenders and play like Stoke City on a windy night.

This is a gameplan that will be straight out of the Fat Sam coaching school.

    Bissaka - Bailly - Lindelof - Telles
    McTominay - Matic - VDB

    McTominay - Fred
    Greenwood - Bruno - Rashford
    CR7

i like that, but I would probably play Fred over McTominay in that 3 just for a little extra defensive covering/running. and yeah your expected lineup is what's more likely to happen with Ole

is Spurs going to park the bus ? if yes Ole can use his favourite 4-2-3-1

We are putting the players on a really awkward position if Ole is not sacked before then. They clearly know that Ole isn’t good enough but if they win this game then they are keeping him in his job.

I really hope the board doesn’t leave this to the players do decided Ole’s fate.

Also what kind of board puts the fans in such an awkward position, one one hand we want the team to win but if they win Ole keeps his job until the next down fall.

Game just got even more interesting. We are going to find out everything about Ole and 'some' of the players.

    Time for changes

    de gea

    bailly maguire shaw

    lingard fred VDB Telles

    bruno

    rashford Ronaldo

Weird situation. There should be some rotation of the underperforming players (Shaw, Maguire, McTominay), but the players who are on the bench have been leaking stuff about Ole and clearly don’t believe in him anymore

    Same starting 11 it is!

Giving Ole more time makes no sense.

What if he wins? We are going to just pretend he is good enough????

Why do I feel like Son is going to score and celebrate it with the most punchable face in the universe.

We found that out last Sunday , anything less than a hammering here will be presented as progress..
