Its frustrating to see us burst forwards with pace only to stop play and pass the ball around safely. I don't know if that's the way LVG has always played but somehow I doubt this is how he imagined his attack would be like.I said it before kickoff, Young should have started.

No Montero is a huge positive for us as well. Only slight worry is Blind up against the sheer brute of Gomis.
Well you called it
We started well made some good chances but last 20 mins were very scrappy. Shaw and Smalling have been very good again. Some nice plays from Herrera but not a lot else from anyone.we are so cowardly. There was a situation where Swansea had 9 men behind the ball - we had the ball around the box - and we had 4 defenders almost in our own half - with Schneiderlin covering neatly 20 yards into their half. Swansea had 1 player up front. You don't need 5 players to cover 1

This infuriates me. Could of had one last attempt. Instead we killed our own attack.Shaw and Darmian have been our standout players, not just today but this season.
Can't help but think we'd have doubled our PL goal tally had we kept onto RVP for one more season. It'll be interesting to see what LVG does between now and the end of the transfer window. Our needs are pretty obvious.This game has draw written all over it.- Status
