@horsechoker
Does that mean Liverpool are better than city right NOW too? What kind of argument is that? showing me their trophies? I am talking about playing style and how they are doing things in transfer market, how they insist on rooney when they are past it and you show me their past achievements. LVG might have won alot but he isnt close to having anything called a team here. This "team" isnt close to challenging for the title, we can bump up threads of lets laugh at liverpool, but right now we need to look at what is happening here and shout at ourselves.
If you are a stat man-
Moyes- 51 games for united - 27 wins
Van gaal- 50 games for united 27 wins
I hated the minute moyes was appointed cause i knew it wasnt the right choice, with lvg i knew he would do a job and was looking forward to his tenure and its been exctly the same. Moyes got 6 wins on the trot, Lvg got same. moyes lost it in the end and ended just few points behind LVG's total last year, with LVG having an advantage of no europe for full year and a Liverpool team that came back to its shitness. The facts are facts, Right now LVG is not doing any better than moyes, I love the club and not one man who manages it and i am not blind that i cannot see what is and what is not working. We are resorting to moyes tactics by playing fellaini as a 9, we arepassing ball sideways and backkwards without doing anything with it again moyes did the same, next all we have to do is cross 890 times against some team like west brom and our years under LVG and moyes will be exactly the same.
You can be sure that if we dont sign an attacker now and we loose to liverpool, which in itself will be diabolical considering their defense and lack of coutinho, the knives will be out for him. Its lack of preparation in transfer market, stubborn and lazy management that is causing us to be an embarrassment to our own name. He revealed he is asking from rooney what team he should select when rooney is the one who shouldnt be in the team. Shambles of a club we are right now and the manager is responsible. When you fight a battle and you lose you do not blame a specific soldier, you blame preparation, tactics and the head of strategy. I hope you get my point.

None of these teams are Swansea level, plus we almost always went on to win the league. These data are irrelevant and no comparison. If LvG brings us to win the league no one will even mind about the shameful Swansea losses. LvG didn't have a clue to handle Swansea. He admitted it in his post match interviewTo Arsenal:

Fergie would have been giving his hair drying treatment in HT and when Swansea levelled, he would have been be up standing on the touch line directing and driving his players forward, instead of squaring the ball to the sides recycling it backward with the sole aim of keeping the fecking 65% possession.Ferguson would have got us charging forward for a goal now. Not this shit.
Terrible football and loss: worst of both worldsI have never turned it off before the final whistle but I cannot accept this hoofball. Not that it matters or anybody cares but I cannot support LVG if he wants to play like this.
Pretty sure Swansea are better than West HamNone of these teams are Swansea level, plus we almost always went on to win the league. These data are irrelevant and no comparison. Currently or generally? In any event, West Ham just thrashed Liverpool 3-0 in the weekend do you know? Swansea is not even even an English team... lol. And when was Swansea being promoted to the PL anyway? Just a few years. Gary Monk > LvGPretty sure Swansea are better than West Ham
Plus, players looking nervous, non creative, nothing to show what United was made of... and making sure there is no fear factor any more... Last season all over again! Geez I dreaded weekends! That game went pretty much exactly how most of us predicted.
Lots of possession, very little chances, sucker punched.

Its early days still but this is a worrying result
First of all we were easily leapfrogged in the league by the team that beat us and predictably failed to take advantage of direct rivals failings by doing exactly the same ourselves - not exactly the best way to move up the table
Secondly and more importantly real lack of leadership from the bench - I wonder what LvGs halftime talk consists of? It doesn't seem to have much effect. No plan B because the system that is being drummed into the players doesn't permit one... it's plan A all the way ad infinitum. Our play is predictable, the subs are predictable and apart from the mysterious inclusion of Chicha even the bench was 100% same shizzle.
Now we're gonna get two days panic buying at over-inflated prices to snag some star who will predictably fail because he'll be bought to sell chewing gum in Afghanistan rather than play in the Prem.
And after that, an international break where Rooney will fill is boots against Andorra or some such...
Why? Last time I checked they are Welsh. What's your problem?
Yeah, and that obviously means they're worse than West HamWhy? Last time I checked they are Welsh. What's your problem?
I was putting a lol after I mentioned Swansea is not even a English team, obviously it was tongue in cheek! You then had nothing to argue about and mock that part apparently knowing I was right in every aspect. Anyway, laugh what you will, but bear this in mind:Yeah, and that obviously means they're worse than West Ham
Swansea are a team that should be finishing just behind the top 6 (maybe even infant of Spurs if Kane doesn't have a good season), suggesting that West Ham is/were a better team is laughable anyway.
Now that Blind clearly is a defender for LvG, is it possible to change him to defender in the lineup predictions?
I did wonder the same. I asked @Niall about Valencia being moved into defence last season but I think it messes with the database or something. It would be nice if Valencia was in the defenders this season though considering he's a right back.
