The commentators are acting as if we've been beaten in a surprise victory by swansea but the truth is that its no surprise that we've lost at all. This is all pretty much expected nowadays.

Well those crictical fans get what they want. Good performance and a lost. I prefer boring winning games myself.

I'm a bit glad Falcao did not play today... It just shows that no matter who is in front... our strikers will look horrible with LVG slow side to side passes philosophy.

Worst thing is that he applauded the players at the end of the game... which shows that he is satisfied with the players performance.... SIGH. Another horrible day today.

fecking useless, pitiful result today. We're going to be lucky to make the 4. 200 million is needed to replace the dead wood in this squad.

Best team in 2015 LVG? feck off.

Not really though is it? That's our first loss since Man City beat us.

It does mean they were jammy. A lucky goal is the very definition of jammy.

At what point did I say it was an excuse for us or that we deserved to win? My point all along has been that they didn't deserve their goal or 3 points. Neither have we. They got the luck though, which again is the definition of jammy.
Did we deserve to win? What did we create? Take the glasses off FFs

I am sick of this crap now. We haven't played well all season. How were we 3rd? Not anymore.

The most frustrating thing was seeing the ball float to either their Keeper's hands - every single fecking time, or Fellaini's head when we wanted to change things up. That being said, being hit on the sucker punch by a fecking deflected Swamp creature hollywood shot after being all over them for a decent period was a piss-take.

Its as much the players as it is the manager. We just have too many deadwood shite players playing for a club as big as this.

Come off it, that team out there is fine.

Go look at last years lineup in the 4-1, it included last leg Rio, Evra, Cleverley and an OAP on the wing. Oh and Welbeck who everyone has now agreed is rubbish.

Was feeling great before the game, depressed as feck now. Amazing what football can do to you.

We paid the price for not scoring during our period of total dominance in that 2nd half, simple as that.

Can't believe I'm going to have to cheer for Liverpool tomorrow. A draw won't do as we'll drop to 5th. Oh dear, what a crap result. Our strikers

I'm not upset. I am too old and have a good enough life for myself and my family to get too upset with a game. You are reading into my statements and implying emotion. I want United to do well. I have watched every single minute of every match. We have not been all that good in most games. I think we have ridden our luck and I do think that DDG has saved us multiple times. I have not felt we were good enough for top 4 since very early on. I still don't. I am sorry you don't agree, but that is my perception of our squad and how we play. We still have a lot of very tough games coming up and I don't fancy us in a lot of them.
You're still avoiding my point, in the last 20 games, where we've had a more settled back 4 (still not entirely consistent) when has De Gea saved us multiple times as you made out? In that period we hadn't let more than 1 goal a game and we've had the best defensive record in the league. Its nonsense to suggest we're defensively frail. Its our ability going forward that's hurting us.

A bad result. We dominated for large portions of the game but at the end of the day - we are seriously lacking the fight to come back into games, and also the determination and character to kill games off once we are in front.

We are an utter shambles and an embarrassment. Lumping it to Fellaini for most of the game is not Manchester United. If that's the philosophy then I'm starting to lose patience and LVG is looking more clueless by the week.

I keep saying it but there is no cnut giving the players a rocket up the arse on the sidelines.

This game isn't a surprise. Swansea were shit but we are all possession and no creativity, no ruthlessness, no passion.

Fellaini FFS. He's wank anyway and as a target man he's worse!

From this performance, United shown that they really have no idea when they go behind.
Always sending the high ball to Felliani and easily snub out by the Swansea defence.
I think anybody can take over LVG as the coach or Manager if this is what United do when they are catching the game.
Not showing any emotion on the touchline is also not doing any good to the team as no instructions are being passed on and reminded. I think LVG is going to be another flop with his tactics and behavior.
Probably United will finished sixth and improved from last season.

Rooney is long past his sell by date and with RVP and Fellaini there is little movement through the channels inside the box. We had enough posession until Swansea scored and were trying to walk into the goal.

It's been easy to take this horrible football whilst picking up points. Was only a matter of time before we'd get beat. Fecks sake, RvP should have scored a brace. How did we not win this?

I can't complain too much about the defending, but our inability to create chances is our main weakness.

The better side did not win today.

Its quite obvious to most people that our formation is incredibly unbalanced and predictable.

I just don't understand why we have to persist with playing 2 strikers upfront when its just not been working at all. Why we can't play a 4-3-3 with two wingers and have Rooney either playing upfront alone or supporting RVP?

It would mean we wouldn't need to use Fellaini and could have a 3 man central midfield to shield our back four.

We are better than swansea but the shape of our team clearly puts us at a major disadvantage defensively because opponents can break through us so easily. A lucky second goal from them after a dominating spell from us in the second half. It was due to come and probably unjustified. Sadly, we only have RVP and our frontline to blame for being so wasteful and unimaginative.

This has to stop otherwise we really are going to fall our of the top 4. When will LVG realize that play 2 strikers away from home requires a fecking solid defensive base?
