Looks like last year's 4-1-4-1. If have preferred a property rightback and young on there left wing instead of Memphis because the attack relied a lot on crossing from that left side.

He's definitely going for it to keep his job/rumours away. Still a bit miffed Schneiderlin isn't playing and Fellani is only because I feel it limits how we play but against Stoke it makes some sense I guess.

Exactly. Given how awful both the DMs were last game at tracking back I'm astounded. Stoke will be laughing, attack with pace on the break and they'll break us like Norwich.

We have one day rest, he probably wants Schweinsteiger and Schneiderlin for Chelsea.

Herrera and Rooney have just returned too so to play them after one day rest so quickly after returning is a risk, that's likely why Rooney is on the bench, save him for Chelsea.

I hope it's 4-3-3 and we play well so his staff will persuade him to drop Rooney and use Carrick / Schneiderlin holding with Herrera and Schweinsteiger in front, Mata drifting into the space behind Martial and Young attacking that flank.
