How we ignored our full back situation is beyond me. One is 32 and technically a converted winger, and we have no natural left back with the exception of Shaw who is very unproven still and currently unreliable.

I believe Rashford is the chosen one. Jose has a local talent of genuine ability and a real chance to make it, and also given him a perfect testimony of youth development. Do you seriously believe Rashford is preferred because he's local? I just can't see Jose intentionally favouring a player he actually believes is inferior to the alternative. It's just not logical.
