    Varela/CBJ get forward very well, a midfield of Schneiderlin, Herrera and Mata has balance and guile and Martial is an outstanding talent. I should really be looking forward to this... bloody Van Gaal.

    I think he's a centre back by trade too. Could be a really handy player to have in our squad.

    A strong squad but really disappointed to see Pereira not get a chance even against Shrewsbury FFS.
     
    Does it even matter who we pick? The players look so bereft of belief anyone could beat us right now. I should feel good about the XI, I'm not. Waiting for the inevitable defeat and more excuses from LVGenius.

    Indeed.
    No matter what formation, which players...the result is weak.
    We've had our 3 game purple patch for this season (Derby, Stoke, Chelsea, last year our 3 game purple patch: MCFC, LFC, Spurs), so we are back to our losing and drawing.

    I believe we can win this one, though. Simply because Shrewsbury are so lowly ranked.
    Statistically the odds are heavily in our favour.

    I've gone for a 2-1 win.

    EDIT: Oh crap. I just saw that Morgan is starting. When he plays, we always concede. I'm not so sure about win, now.
     
    Just brought up the United website to check the channel for the game and noticed MarathonBet giving odds of 6/1 for a United win.

    Promo offer, max of £5 and paid out i think in free bets, but still, in our current form advertising such horrendous odds on our own website.......looks shoddy.
     
    Same fecking team every game, then we are surprised that players can't run after 70th minute and we concede late goals...
     
    Seen Shrewsbury have scored 37 leagues goals this season, we are screwed.

    They've also conceded 51, and currently have the second worst home record in League 1 (scored 16, conceded 23 in 16 games)

    They've also played 31 games this season, 37 goals in 31 games isn't that amazing.

    Losing to this lot would be such an embarrassment.
