Fairly confident we'll smash this lot and Leeds on Sunday.
Not collecting what should be 3 guaranteed points against a side with 1 point from 12 games so far would be Classic United this past 3 or 4 years. Anytime we get a glimpse of something possibly good happening, the players become passive and run scared. Horrible feeling we might only draw this because of this bottlers syndrome we tend to have.Absolutely gonna feck this up. There are too many bottlers in this team. The thought of being two points from top will scare them.
Watch.
They could easily have taken more points from their games. Against Leicester for example it was a Vardy injury time winner.11 of the 12 teams to have played them have beaten them so it’s not that difficult. Appreciate that the margins have not been massive but they’re still rock bottom for a reason and we absolutely have to take advantage.
12 matches 1 point. Surely Wilder's job is on the line for this match, if they don't react sooner?
Teams invest a lot of money and work hard to get up into the EPL.
Why on Earth are Sheff Utd just passively allowing their team to get relegated.
I don't think I've seen such a passive response to getting into the EPL.
It's like getting promoted at work, with double pay and instead of working hard to learn the new role and succeed at it, you just sit back passively and fail every task in the job, so you can be demoted back to your old position.
I know they are shit but we should probably have a keeper in there, even if its calamity dave. The team I want to see:
Wan Bissaka----Tuanzebe---Maguire---Shaw
--------Van de Beek-----------Fred--------------
---------------------------Fernandes----------------
Greenwood----------Martial---------------Rashford
Can't help wondering if we'll turn them into a table-topping side...
Chopping and changing when things go wrong isn’t always the answer.Teams invest a lot of money and work hard to get up into the EPL.

you write this as if they were promoted last season.

The difference is, Wilder has pulled this club out of the depths of League One with a squad of players that shouldn’t be at this level. We’ve been on a high for 4 years, there was always going to be a slip. Wilder will be given the chance to put things right and he deserves that, hence why the board are backing him publicly saying the same as me.1 point from 12 games - odds on to go down?
I'd say that is exactly the time to chop and change. I know that the manager may think it's unfair but their board need to do something to stop the rot.
When Moyes was fired, he was only here for 10 months, but the rot was setting in and something had to change.

I may not have 27k posts or a cock but in my opinion we should start 11 players

With top teams dropping points this has undoubtedly become Ole's first test
We won’t beat these lads without Bruno and Fred but they both need resting. Gonna be hard to manage everybody through the 5 games between now and New Years Day. All 5 look winnable on paper and we’d be very close to table toppers if we win them all but I know that’s never gonna happen is it. We just have to pick our strongest team for all the games and hope it works out somehow. Our second line is just to weak to allow us to rotate.
Yeah I'd assume Maguire, Fred and De Gea play all the games up to January except the cup one.Fred just had a full week and a half of rest. He was resting during the latest international break too. He can manage five games in two weeks.
I’d personally prefer Beek over Pogba, I don’t think Pogba should be anywhere near the team. Plus I like what I’ve seen from him, crisp one touch football that really quickens up our attack, he just needs more games in my opinion and I’m not sure why he isn’t getting more games.Cavani potentially (if fit), but can’t see how anyone can say DVDB is part of our strongest 11. Not saying he won’t be in the future, but there’s nothing to say he has proved that yet.
very well rested for this game, 2 extra days compared to City.
Like I said in another post, I don’t think Pogba should be anywhere near the squad let alone the team and I think Beek is a very good player who quickens our play whenever he’s on the pitch in my humble.I understand Cavani but I don't see what DVB has offered to say he's integral to a win?
Shouldn’t be anywhere near our squad in my opinion. What about Pogba? He has been out performing him lately..
Shouldn’t be anywhere near our squad in my opinion.
Fair enough but I think it sends out the wrong message as a club.On the contrary, I'd want Pogba to make a statement by starting every game and playing out of his skin and driving us to a title with Bruno.
But, if ifs and ands were pots and pans....
Fair enough but I think it sends out the wrong message as a club.
Great. Now just to figure that out.
We have to win this.
But I'm sure the Ole in brigade will be getting their excuses ready for not beating Sheffield United whilst the Ole out brigade are getting ready to go ape shit.
Can't wait.
If we don’t play him we get less for him, which means our transfer budget is lower...Shouldn’t be anywhere near our squad in my opinion.

The opportunity is certainly there but my point is the 11 players and subs used will have to be fully switched on and focused to take advantage.
“A draw away from home is always a good result”We have to win this.
