Let´s just hope this does not add more pressure on De Gea and make him play like he did against Chelsea, where Romero had played every game in the cup until then. Just a little worry, that is.
At his best, yes. But De Gea has not been at his best for some time.

Hes been better for 10 years. Even recently Romero produced a howler against Brugge. Often Romero has had nothing to do for 90 mins. DDG is a level above Romero and you know it. So don’t come on me mate ;-)

Totally disagree, He’s not put a foot wrong whenever he’s been called upon. DDG is nowhere near as good as he was pre 2018 World Cup. If he was, then it’s understandable why Romero has been dropped.
Having said that, I just hope Ole’s decision to drop Romero doesn’t come back to haunt him.Lets see, can go either way. We should beat them in theory, but not that confident to be honest.
He's been the No1 in this competition, and our actual No1 has been pony all season and cost us in our last semi final (which Romero should have also started!)

Pressure should give extra motivation for players to perform particularly when his spot has never been challenged over the years and his below par performances are largely down to this reason as there is no way a player can regress at 27.
