Is that a serious question? Both Mata and Martial had better stats, totals and per 90 minutes. Also Lingard started plenty of matches. He had 2200 minutes total. Not too dissimilar from the the others who performed better.

I don't think we could play Real Madrid with Herrera and Pogba as the two defensive minded midfielders so Fellaini was not likely to be an option I reckon.

Lingard to score.Substitutions if no one is injured: Fellaini on for Matic, Rashford for Jesse/Mkhi(whoever's worse), Mata/Martial for Mkhi/Jesse after more than 80 minutes of play.Got 10/11 as like a lot I didn't pick Lingard, more because he has only just started training again as he ran himself into the ground on pre-season. Jose obviously trusts him more defensively than Martial. Martial will be useful later in the game when the heat takes it's toll on tired, not quite up to speed legs.
