I did not such thing. I blamed Mourinho because he instructs wingers to keep the shape and defend first, which leads to them not contributing enough in attack. Then he picks players who follow those instructions better, which is where Lingard comes in. Then we fail to score and draw or lose the game. Lingard is limited but the blame for an underperforming attack was on Mou. Hence I hope he does not repeat the same mistakes.

Defensive set up? if you look at how madrid retrive the ball back in a high press , you need a creative player to create something in posession in high pressure which rashford and martial hardly does and a player with better movement to find pockets of spaces for penetration.
The buildup against these sides is the best with lingard when he plays on the right. Its an attacking team capable of finding penetration first.
and mkh is a goal threat capable of scoring . Rashford is a counter attacker direct player but lacks that creativity, while martial have not very good movements or Positioning so the high press always let him loose the ball.I'm disappointed with Miki and Lingard starting out wide. They always drift inside. Miki is better in the number 10 role and Lingard is better upfront. Apart from that it's a strong side.Had 10/11 for my lineup. Picked Martial to start instead of Lingard.I like having a midfield 3 that everyone pretty much agrees on...Matic, Herrera, Pogba!
The complaint last season was no one knew who the starting eleven was, but with those 3 on paper it looks great.Lingard again...I guess Bale isnt coming
