Norwich are in awful form and we're flying high.

I think we should start our strongest line up and blow them away early, then can make some subs like we did against Sheffield.

Bruno will be having a field day with the space.

Disagree completely. This along with LASK second leg are our least important matches left. That's not to say we shouldn't take it seriously but we can't keep going full strength in every single match. We'd be knackered and riled with injuries by late July if we did that.

We need to keep in mind that because of the Europa dates we won't be having a pre season or a substantial rest between the two seasons. Makes it so much more important to rest players whenever we can and this is the perfect opportunity.

    Romero
    Dalot - Bailly - Maguire - Williams
    Fred - McTominay
    Pereira - Mata - James
    Ighalo

The five subs last night weren't a coincidence but rather a sign of things to come imo. Maybe add AWB and Bruno/Rash instead of Dalot and Pereira. The rest of the big boys should be on the bench and hopefully get a nice rest before Brighton.

I think we should rotate as much as we can, rest Pogba, Bruno, Matic, Martial. Give Rashford at least 45 minutes so he can get back to his best though, I feel he needs to score.

Mctominay and Fred is a good option to have and they should be able to handle Norwich really well. Could be the perfect game to start James aswell because Norwich aren't a "low-block" team, gives James space to run into which he excels at.

We do have a game 3 days after this fixture so I think focusing on squad rotation is important. Our back up options should be able to do the job and get away with a win.

@Samid This is a great chance for Ole to win a trophy, he's not going to be resting people especially away to Norwich.

We just rested 5 first teamers for 20 minutes against Sheffield and fingers crossed we can do the same again against Norwich if we trash them.

LASK we can play a complete 2nd string at home.

Playing every 3 days isn't really that difficult.

LASK isn’t until the season is over I believe?

I think the 5 subs from yesterday are an indication as to who starts.
I guess Ole wanted to give them some minutes and make them sharper for the cup tie.

    I'll go with:
    -------------------Romero
    AWB-----Bailly--------Maguire------Williams
    ------------Fred----------Mctominay
    Mata------------Pereira------------James
    --------------------Ighalo

We're finally going to see our favourite ref again!

Isn't Timothy mensah fit, might worth giving him a start against a team like Norwich in place of bissaka? I think rashford will play as he still looked very rusty at times against both spurs and Sheffield united.

Pogba will start, I reckon. Didn't start the first game, and he'll most likely get another hour to build up his fitness and put the tie to bed within that time.

    -------------------- Romero ----------------------

    Williams ----- Bailly - Jones ----- Dalot

    ----------------- Fred - Matic --------------------

    ---------- James - Pogba - Mata ----------

    ---------------------- Ighalo ------------------------

This is a good game for us to rotate the side. I still expect to see a few first team players however. I think despite the rotated team, we will still win this comfortably.

    Romero
    AWB Bailly Maguire Williams
    Fred McTominay
    Mata Bruno Rashford
    Ighalo
I couldn't decide whether we would play Bruno or Pogba, but as Bruno is the 10, I think that he might the position. Also didn't know whether to go for James or Rashford, but went for the latter as I think Ole will want Rashford off the mark, though don't expect to see his play 90 min. Dalot might come in off the bench for AWB too.

Going for a 2 0 win. Bruno and Ighalo to score

Players like Pereira and Lingard should be nowhere near a starting line-up, ever again. Rotate a few I say, but no need to do too many changes.

    De Gea
    AWB, Bailly, Maguire, Williams
    McTominay, Fred
    Greenwood, Pogba, James
    Ighalo

Bench: Romero, Laird, VNL, Matic, Garner, Bruno, Mata, Rashford, Martial

I wish we get the game wrapped up around HT and play the second half with little intensity. The focus has to be on Brighton. We have no ground left to lose in the PL.

Fully agree, this idea that we have to play them when rotating is silly, they aren't good enough to represent the club, doesn't matter the competition or who we're playing.

    Romero
    Dalot - Bailly - Maguire - Williams
    Fred - McTominay
    Pogba
    Mata - Ighalo - James

Gomes, Greenwood, Garner and maybe Chong and Tuanzebe to come on after 60-70-80 ish.

I’d like to keep the momentum going so I’d start a strong side and hopefully get the job done early on and then take advantage of the 5 subs. Take off our key players and get him recovering for Brighton on Tuesday.

LASK isn’t until the season is over I believe?
Yes sorry you're right the fixtures been moved, think it was originally after Norwich.

Anyway confidence and keeping up a winning run is way more important than resting people.

These lads are fit as fiddles and would probably rather play 60 minutes than sit on the bus, travel and not play at all.

Lets go there, dick them 3/4 and go home laughing into wembley. Brighton aren't going to be easy whether we rest players or not.

Keep the momentum going with the same team.

Let's see if we can absolutely hammer them to keep confidence high.

Let's see if Martial can continue scoring.

Let's win the fecking FA Cup.

In an ideal situation, we can rotate everyone as we have the squad depth. But I don't think there will be that much rotation, simply to keep the momentum and this is the FA Cup, not the League cup.

    Romero
    AWB (Dalot) Bailly Maguire Williams
    Fred Mctominay
    Pogba (Mata)
    James (Lingard) Ighalo Rashford

In brackets are likely subs or could be selected from start too

    Let's keep the momentum going.

This will be Norwich last harrah you feel. So they could be dangerous if we underestimate them.
Last hurrah? You'd think they'd be busting their bollocks every game to ensure PL survival...I think they have anyway ,personally. They just haven't been good enough. Likeable team, crowd and manager but lack quality enough.

They'll fight hard but we saw 5 subs last night. It wasn't a coincidence.

    Win for us

Isn't he the guy from Spartacus

With Moss refereeing it's probably going to be a 45 minute game anyway

Bring Dalot on the pitch so he can finally show he can contribute something more than presence.

The amount of subs could be great opportunity to move past Lingard era and if the match is in control, get Gomes on the pitch, for at least 5-10 minutes and let him sweat for the new contract, we don't even know how he looks on the pitch anymore tbh.

    This.
No need to sacrifice what's working for something that involves Lingard and Pereira starting, we know what usually happens when they have to step up and It's not good. Rest the likes of Pogba early in the second half, we should be leading by then.

    Would go with:
    ------------Romero
    Dalot--Bailly-Maguire--Williams
    ----McTominay-Pogba
    Greenwood-Bruno-Rashford
    -------------Martial

De Gea, Laird, Mengi/Tuanzebe, Garner, Fred, Gomes, Mata, James, Ighalo
maybe Devine to cover LB if Gomes is leaving

Feel like this will be their last chance to get something out of their season, so they'll make it difficult for us.

Go with a strong team, get a good few early goals and rest important players for Brighton away next. I'd probably start Ighalo over Martial.
Norwich are just 6 points behind safe grounds with 7 games to go. No way they have already given up the league, and why should they. If you look at the teams left in the cup, Norwich chances of winning are be close to zero anyway (e.g. they would probably have to beat both United and City).

    Possibly..

    Romero
    AWB Bailly Maguire Williams
    McT Fred
    Mata Pereira James
    Ighalo

Subs: Lingard, Dalot (both will play 2nd half)

I agree with this too. If by the 60th minute we are losing or drawing throw in Pogba, Bruno and Rashford.

    Have you seen the schedule?

I think Ole will go with this:

    .................... Romero

    Bissaka - Bailly - Maguire - Williams

    .......... McTominay - Fred

    Greenwood - Fernandes - James

    .................... Martial

    Subs:
    Bissaka > Dalot
    Greenwood > Chong
    Fernandes > Lingard
    Martial > Ighalo

We have the FA cup on Saturday, and the league on Tuesday right? I wonder how we will manage the rotation then. It will be key for our players who are playing the FA cup to be sharp early. I didn't like that Igdaho missed occasions to score yesterday, the subs need to be able to win games too.

The ability to change all front five players is a sign of things to come.
