    We have been active and tried stuff. Looked good for 30 minutes and then trailed off. Some of our players seem kind of entitled to a goal and not taking it too seriously. Hojlund has been brutal, but it can't be easy with wingers like that. Match should have been over by now, so we can sub important players.

    I'm certain we will still win this, but any good team will butcher us. Which is kind of what has been happening for a while.

    Exactly. Saw this after a few games and he hasn't changed or improved at all since. He is a one trick pony and every defender in the land knows exactly what he will do. For me, he is the worst signing in my lifetime. An utter disgrace paying nearly £90m for him.
     
    Nervy second half coming up, but I'm sure we can protect this one goal lead.

    Because that is our playstyle, we are direct and try to do it quick, for better or for worse. You can't play this style and expect to camp in oppo's third. That tweet is bunch of bollocks.
     
    We rush our attacks too much. Love Bruno but he's one of the culprits, calm the feck down with the ball, he just kicks it randomly in space all the time. There's time for releasing players and there's kicking it down hopelessly.

    It really doesn`t matter what players Erik starts with.
    Casemiro, Martinez, Shaw is back now and we still look exactly the same.
     
    Professional performance so far. Just hope these missed chances don’t come back to haunt us. A wonder goal from them which that lad will never forget.

    Get the job done in the 2nd half.

    Having to watch with the sound off. These 2 are fecking painful. Their goal was 100% twatted with a hope and a prayer and went in due to the big deflection of Martinez, but apparently was "A goal of the season" and the "best version of that type of goal scored this year".

    Less said about Murphy the better. Bitter little nugget with zero insight. Christ knows how he gets so much work as a pundit. Maybe hating Man United is the only "qualification" they look for these days.

    We’ve been shit. These players need intensive passing training. It’s ridiculous how fecking shit they all are at passing the ball to the right person.

    Put Amad on for Antony and play Garnacho on the right, where he might feel able to actually cross the ball once or twice.

    This is what Hojlund needs. Whenever we get it wide, it ends in a cut back. He’s just getting no service.
     
    Though Antony did well in first half and deserved a goal, hopefully he gets one in the 2nd half.

    Im suprised little is being said about the keeper on Newport's goal, if that was Onana he'd be getting slaughtered for it.

    Should have two goals. Garnacho has twice completely ignored him. Infuriating.

    Im not even sure it was on target without the deflection. The angle from behind the goal made it look like it was going wide.

    Even worse is the chat about the atmosphere. I’ve heard better atmospheres from 500 people stood behind a goal in Europe.

    Playing like this is basically levelling the playing field for the opposition. We should be controlling the game through dominating territory and possession.

    We are playing a League 2 side and nine Newport players have seen the ball more than our centre forward.

    Hojlund is doing all the right things. If his team mates had any kind of decision making he would have 2 or 3 today. Its no wonder he doesn't score when Rashford and Antony are in it for themselves week in week out. Garnacho does occasionally make a pass but he has a greedy tendency too. Cant blame Hojlund when he isn't being given the ball. If he is missing 7 or 8 chances every game like Antony then he would be open to criticism
