    Worked last season (obv different players now but still). Why doesn't he go for it now?

    I am surprised he didn't go more 4-4-2. Get two wingers in. Morgan and Ander in the centre with Rooney and Martial up front. No Fellaini more importantly.

    He's more capable of utterly screwing up any even remotely threatening attack. I'm not saying the others aren't, I just think his performances this season have been poor, very poor. Bar one or two moments. Doesn't deserve to start.
     
    I'd have Scheinerdlin and Herrera, with Mata just ahead n the middle. This has creativity, movement and goal threat.
     
    Love the way people are moaning about the bench today. Earlier in the season, people were moaning about how he was killing United by not involving youth team prospects.

    Speaking to BT, Louis van Gaal explained the decision to put Juan Mata on the bench. "Mata has played all the games, I think there was only one he didn't play, so he needed rest. I like speed on the wings."



    So Louis why do you keep playing Juan on the wing then?

    LVG selection is disgusting. 2 defensive midfielders again, one being Fellaini who can't play football let alone defend. Another ZzZzZzZ fest.
     
    Fellaini starting again :lol: just put Herrera next to Schneiderlin and someone like Memphis or Mata in front of them ffs...
     
    Doesn't matter if Fellaini is alongside schneiderlin, behind Rooney or up front. He'll be shit whatever the position.
     
    I don't mind the look of this side. If Fellaini and Herrara are played in their positions from last season I think it could work quite well.

    I'd prefer Memphis to start after his sub appearance in the FA Cup but other than that I am fine with the team.

    Would've been ideal, fellaini just isn't useful in this set up, even a 4-4-1-1 with Herrera moving back next to Schneiderlin would've suited us better.

    He can play as a #10. Still, Martial is much better as a striker, problem solved.
