Forgot about this game being on today, not watching it, and now I hear we're 2-0 up and actually playing fairly well and even counterattacking. I want to now tune in and see us play entertaining football as it has been so long, but I'm afraid I'll jinx it

We are not playing entertaining football, it's untidy from both teams and Newcastle are really disorganized.

Nah it was a great pass, got Rooney right into the box with it... the less running Rooney has to do with the ball, the better.

it was touch and go if he would get there before the defender or the goal keeper. It was over-hit. But I see what you mean if it was a little further back he would have stopped and checked back and it would be circulating back to the center circle lol

This is the best game United have been involved in this season. The overall quality mightn't be great and we've looked shaky at the back at times, but god I would take this every day of the week over the awful "safe" shite we've been lumped with.

What I'm worried is the we haven't dominated the game till now.

That"s how I've seen it too. We've not be great. Newcastle look woeful though.

Good half. Started slowly, but settled after we got the goal. Since then, we've looked really dangerous on the counter. Hopefully we can kill the game off in the 2nd half.

    It's been a fun half.

Counterattacking wise we look very dangerous.

Fellaini just reminds me of this:

We definitely need him off in the second half.

We cause our only problems with stupid passing decisions. I would take Fellani off or he will get sent off.

Some nice attacking play at times, but pretty sure the Geordies will go for it now.

Surely someone in our squad must be able to take corners consistently? Everyone so far has been fecking awful

Take Fellaini off for a footballer and we'll see this out 3 or 4-1 easily.

It's weird that you always seem to lose your concentration after scoring a goal.

Most vulnerable the first and last 5 minutes of each half, and the first 5 minutes after a goal is what my trainer always told me growing up. What's shocking is how often professional footballers allow concentration to slip like that when everyone and their mum knows the old adage.

It's been good. It's been entertaining. Much better than the usual 0-0.

Need to tighten things up a bit, we can do them on the counter.

Take Fella off for Pereira and play 4-3-3 like last season and we've won the game.

This is a strange experience, not wanting to throw a curtain pole through my TV.
