I do agree with that to an extent, but just watch his 'control' on long passes. Maguire pinged him one around the 30th minute, he was in about 20 yards of space, perfect ball, nothing but open grass in front of him. By the time he'd got it under control - about 4 awkward touches later - the defensive was happily back to double team him. If he's got some technique, he brings that down and shifts it to the forwards, and we probably create a good chance.When you've got a defensive fullback you play a proper winger in front of him. Everyone knew AWB wasnt spectacular going forward, seems unfair expecting him to provide width.
